Most important item to get when purchasing any electronics, no matter what it is! The fellas at my local store have never not been able to solve whatever is wrong with my computer, laptop and tablet. They are precise in going through and double-checking all before releasing back to me. I highly recommend getting the support contract and maintaining it. Well worth the money and ease of dropping off locally with people we trust!

The Best Buy membership is the only way I shop. Member is munts, Untiurited Geek Squad which definitely adds to
my menta security not to mention the tree 24 month protection plans with all purchases!!

Geek squad 2 YEAR replacement is a MUST BUY no matter WHAT you’re buying. Whether if it’s a pair of earphones, consoles , Video games, TV, appliances, etc. You might be thinking in a situation in which you’re buying a TV that is over $1000 and see the geek squad replacement might cost a lot for you, anything that can happen to your item WILL happen. Happily put down the money for the replacement, you will not regret it.

Sound quality is great for the money. I just had trouble keeping them in my ears. I tried all the sizes and the biggest size seemed like a better fit for my ears. But I did purchase the extra two year warranty on them. I was bass fishing today and I leaned over the boat to get my fish and both earbuds popped out into the water and could not be recovered.
I will let you know what happens once I talk to BestBuy.

Best insurance
It’s hard for me not to get this insurance for my headphones… I normally beat the crap out of my headphones… Since the insurance is two years long… Around the year and a half to the to your mark my headphones always end up messing up… This insurance covers the headphones… It’s probably the best investment you’ll ever make

Quite literally has saved me so much money on several occasions. I've been able to replace my hardware for merely the price of renewed protection after nearly the full 2 years of use. Pays for itself several times over.

I honestly expected to be told that due to the pandemic I wouldn't be able get service on my damaged phone because the stores were closed for in store visits.
Anywho, the GS agent I chatted online said the opposite. Due to the pandemic they were not requiring physical verification of damage. The only pain was making the deductible payment, then GS sent me a replacement device in two days with no hassle at all.

I highly recommend best buy protection on all your devices. If something goes wrong, Best Buy technicians try to resolve problem. If they cannot they give you a new product compatible to the one you have. Highly recommend. They even come to your home to install product your purchased with best buy.

if you know those cheap ear buds are going to break add the price of this plan and raise your budget. I do like the protection plan but its more of a impulse buy made at the cash wrap with no thought about using it. would having to replace 14 dollar ear buds put me on the street without geeksquad? it was easy to cash in and was even offered again. i passed on it

I always buy from Best Buy and get the extended warranty on electronic items of certain value such as fitbit type watches, ear buds and laptops.
I have used their warranties extensively and will continue to use them,
I guess that I am just hard on electronics - they usually break before warranty is up and I get to replace them and use warranty again.

We have used this and never had an issue for repairs or replacement of broken/impaired items. However, I was a little annoyed that you have to re-purchase coverage even when you have time lwft on your geek squad warranty.
For example, I had 2 yr coverage and needed to replace an item. They replaced the item but said that it was a one time use on the warranty and so the replacement item was not covered as the warranty was now void. So I had to repurchase new coverage. I understand from a business aspect but it is a little off pointing from a customer view point.

I always get Geek Squad or Best buy insurance on products that I constantly use every day or On products that I know most likely I will overload them with work or the Use. You take them to Best Buy if they can fix it they’ll do it no problem if they can’t they’ll credit you back or I’ll give you a new one. Can’t beat that. Peace of mind is what you’re buying.

Geek squad installed my tv on the wall.

The geek squad techs mounted my tv and set it up very quickly and professionally. Ran the wires in the wall so you could not see them running from my sat receiver and security cameras. They cleaned up after themselves, taking trash with them. Well worth it to have them install the tv because I could not install it on the wall by myself. Great job, guys.

I always buy the accidental geek squad replacements on elegible products. They cover normal wear and tear, manufacture defects and even cracked screens. This is a must especially when you have little ones. The product gets replaced in store! No need to contact manufacturer and call a number just take it to the store. Best Buy does it all for you.

I've gotten SO much use out of Best Buy protection plans over the years. They cover almost any issue, including accidental damage, and returns are quick and easy. A protection plan is a must have for any electronics purchase.

The replacement warranty allows me to replace the item, for any reason, at the end of the 2-year time frame.... which means I can always have the latest electronic device available, along with the added protection time. The key is to mark your calendar or set a notice in your phone ahead of time for that deadline date.

Recommend the service plan especially for any electronic devices is you have kids like me. Purchased Nintendo switch for my older son, some weeks later my little 4 year old breaks the screen by accident. With the accident service plan was able to replace it at no cost to me. That’s a definite plus.

Thank goodness I bought this plan! I completely, forgot I purchases the plan, and even if I remembered I didn't think they would replace my Bose Ear Buds for accidental damage! Looking forward to my Geek Squad appointment this Sunday!

We purchased the protection plan 3 years ago and wouldn't let it lapse for any reason. The service we get, at home or in the store, is fantastic. There is an additional time allotment for returns and coverage which can't be beat. We have actually given the protection plan as a gift and get nothing but good vibes coming back at us.
