Bought this to protect a laptop purchase for my daughter for school. So far, haven't needed to use it. Good to know if the device breaks, she has someone to fix it

Everyone needs protection on their investments when spelling a lot of a laptop with all the bells and whistles. Accidents can happen to anyone, anytime.

Never used on a computer, but used on a TV and it’s worth it. Got this for new computer and hopefully won’t need to use yet again.

I use geek squad for everything I buy through Best Buy. I have for years. Will continue to do so ! Always super helpful and prompt if I need to bring a device in.

I get these protection plans for pretty much everything over $100, due to I find it beneficial when I have had things go bad shortly after the manufacturer warrantee. And if it is deemed "broke" beyond repair, they'll give you your money back on a gift to purchase something else.

I will not ever walk out of your store with out insurance. I never hade any problem getting anything fixed ore replaced. I have kids. Thing's allways happen.

I am so very glad that I purchased this Geek Squad Service. I've already had cause to call in for assistance 3 times since I purchased it after buying my new home and moving here to Missouri from Texas about 5 months ago. I was diagnosed with cancer nearly 5 yrs. ago and was then turned over to hospice and not expected to live. All of the Radiation caused nerve damage and I lost most of the use of one hand and part of the other. The Chemo triggered a horrible form of dementia. After being miraculously healed of Cancer and released from Hospice all of the rest really put me behind as I muddled my way out of the dementia. It's been such a long journey, so when I get a bit confused and simply pick up the phone to call for help figuring things out from the Geek Squad it truly has been a life saver for me. Computer gets quite hot after an hour or so of gameplay, I would recommend getting a fan to keep it from blowing up. Definitely a nice computer, but more on the expensive side for how how it can get.

Great to have for all electronics would hate to have a device break without so make sure you are all getting the protection plans

I needed to use my Geek Squad plan for the first time and I am so appreciative for the service. My laptop won't turn on. Initially, I was told they'd have to send it off for 2 weeks but rep took to back to see if she could fix problem and she was able to. Thanks so much. Can't afford to be without laptop for 1 day. *-*

The laptop was delivered two days earlier than originally anticipated, and I had absolutely NO TROUBLE, setting it up - only problem is, I need to be connected to the Internet, to set up AND sign in - but that's why I got myself a laptop to begin with - I shouldn't need to be online, just to sign in to the computer; what we think of as a computer shouldn't require Internet, *just* to sign in! That's my only complaint, other than I was expecting a reversible touch screen laptop, and got a beautiful, non-reversible laptop, that is not the touchscreen I had expected.

I bought this one for my own laptop's safety and security!! because we never know what will happen tomorrow. The laptop that I bought is quite expensive, so I bought this geek squad protection plan. I don't want to have problems, should anything happen... (knock on wood!) It's always better to be on the safer side... Always... it's better to be safe than sorry.
