Having a protection really helps and let you use the device tension free. I would recommend having the theft plan over basic one. Great service for price paid.

Other service plans are cheaper than Best Buy but they offer immediate no hassle service at the store. No packing and shipping of product to send to some remote service facility like other plans the big box discount retailers offer through third party providers.

The Geek Squad Protection goes way beyond manufacture warranty and wear and tear. This protection not only covers manufacturer defects and accidents but lost or stolen as well! Good luck getting that kind of service from a phone protection app!

I like this plan better when there wasn't a charge to replace your damaged phone, but of course others have to ruin it for all! Easy to use.

I recently purchased the Geek squad protection for my new Note 7. After I was instructed by Samsung to return the phone obviously I had to cancel the coverage. When I contacted them they were very professional and polite and made the process very simple.

Better than insurance through Sprint. It is much cheaper and I have never had a problem whenever my phones have gotten damaged.

Although I am extremely careful with my electronic devices, accidents can, and will, happen. Thanks to insurance, if anything happens, I am not stressed about how much it would cost to replace my Galaxy S7 edge. The best part of it all, it's inexpensive!

It may seem like an investment at first and may not want to drop the money on it. You usually have 14 days to add it. Took a set of headphones back and since they were discontinued, got a giftcard for the ebtire purchade price and warranty. Worth it.

For a $700 phone I like to habe dine protection; however, will I ever really use it? I hope not but at least I have peace of mind.

This protection plan reassures me that if anything happens to the phone, I don't have any tragic consequences. Data, contacts and important photos are not lost forever. Or even if the phone is lost or stolen, it's replaced.

I bought the galaxy note for my last phone. When the battery was having trouble holding a charge, my geek squad protection replaced the battery - that very day. I now have it on my new phone and I expect the same great service.

I can sleep better at night knowing my phone has protection. This phone cost about $1000.00 and if I didn't have this protection plan I would of have to buy a new one or pay to repair the damages on the phone.

We switched from the Verizon protection to the Best Buy protection plan. This has already saved us money. My wife dropped her phone in water and Best Buy was easy to work with and replaced the phone easily and quickly.

Two things stand out compared to phone insurance through Sprint - 1. Lower Cost per month. 2. Better coverage - while the deductible is higher than Sprint's, this covers theft and loss! Definitely better!

Haven't had to use this protection for my phone yet, and hope I never do, but....have used the squad for some computer issues before and they're super knowledgeable and completely competent in what they do!!!

My previous experience with needing a replacement phone was unforgettable. I purchased the plan when I signed a new contract. Keep in mind, it had been 22 months before I needed to use the plan. I've been a Geek Squad customer at least 7+ years. Due to improper internal controls within Best Buy and Geek Squad, I had to wait 3 additional business days to get a refurbished phone; the total time was 1 week to get a replacement. The salesperson didn't properly link my new phone to my Geek Squad account. So when I went to request a replacement, Geek Squad couldn't find my phone in their system although I had been paying on this specific contact for 20+ months. I had to wait 3 days for their internal systems to link up before I could request a replacement. So I ended up contacting Best Buy's corporate office. I spoke with 4 different people and the final person had empathy and decided to help me since I had been given the runaround. She was able to escalate my request which took off 1 day. I'm thankful for her assistance but wouldn't request this service for a frenemy or friend.
