I mean you pay for what you get. Added protection for a high price item can be worth it

Geek Squad insurance is worth having, just in case you need them.

I normally always buy this Geek Squad insurance every time I make a big purchase. I've had to use it multiple times over the years and it has always been very easy to use to get a return or replacement. I just go to the store and they see if added on my purchase, and after a few minutes I leave with a replacement or refund. I think its worth the price for the ease of mind, and its definitely saved me money in the long run when things break. I highly recommend it!

I purchased the extended warranty with no regrets. Was no issue to return for store credit 1.7 years after I purchased device.

They did very well, with from the time of check in, even when leaving it from the 24-48 hour processing time. It actually only took them less than 24 hours to text me back to tell me it was time to pick my computer up and the new software was ready to download.

i always get the accidental protection. it is a must for children. will not buy anything without it.

I have slogan I came up with. Well... I remixed that old one "Don't leave home without it". That's my slogan for the GeekSquad Protection Plan. "Don't leave BestBuy without it". Because I don't. Literally, cannot overstate this enough to anyone who will listen. Yes, the manufacturer's warranty is nice and everything. But generally speaking, they cover little to nothing. Also, good luck with the hassle of communicating and shipping the item with any kind of efficiency. By the time you finally get back your "warrantied" item, you've already found a replacement or bought newer tech. Now, if you are anything like me and you want customer service. Go with the Geek Squad Protection Plan. Please take 3 to 5 minutes and hear me out in this review. You walk in with your item. Some stores slap a sticker on the item as you walk in... Some just politely point you in the direction of their customer service section of the store. You wait in line for at the most 10 to 15 minutes as they push through there customers with the utmost care and efficiency. Seriously, I am a customer service stickler and they consistently hit the mark for me or impress in that department time and time again. You then proceed to bring your item to a generally very polite... very knowledgeable... BestBuy representative. They politely ask for some basic information and what went wrong with your item... Ratatattat on the keyboard... Thank you, sir or ma'am go ahead and find a replacement OR and this is the best part. OR they give you the option to choose another brand of your liking. Do you know how many times I've bought an electronic for it to just malfunction after less than 2 months or even worse 7 months and that manufacturer's warranty only covers... You guessed it ... 6 months. I swear, these manufacturers time the longevity of their product to die precisely after the warranty is over. I wouldn't advise buying the protection plan on every single product as there are some products with a decent manufacturers warranty. But, take a second and think about buying this far better protection plan that covers EVERYTHING. Not only does it cover your product, but will replace it immediately when you return it... No questions asked. All in all, to be completely honest, the GeekSquad Protection Plan on top of the outstanding customer service is why I continue to purchase my electronic products through BestBuy and will continue to do so. I applaud both companies and thank any representative that I come across while shopping there. Thanks again and keep up the good work... You've got a lifetime customer in me.

Highly recommend using Geek Squad, I've used them for consoles, laptops and so many more products that I needed help with, they're usually extremely helpful and get you set up quickly.

The membership easily pays for itself. Protection perks make it worthwhile if you shop at Best Buy regularly.

It is a good insurance plan for a person who does gaming in their free time. If anything goes wrong, I can just get a new one.

It certainly saves you money in the long run if you are buying something you are going to heavily use! I get it pretty much with anything I buy from Best Buy!

I bought this keyboard to go with a laptop that I bought my husband for his business. He is a mechanic and needs to be able to look up parts and keep track of them. With him working with his hands every day, I wanted to keep the laptop itself as clean as possible and the best way to do that is to keep his hands off of the keyboard and touchpad. This keyboard works great for this purpose. It's easy to use and he doesn't have any issues with it. (I also bought a silicone cover for it for protection, so maybe it will prolong the life of the keyboard.)
