Best Buy has got to have the best warranty protection. Never had an issue replacing items with the warranty.

I purchased and financed a new Samsung Galaxy. I purchased the monthly protection and it paid off. I clicked on the wrong site one morning and they tried to take over my phone. First time using my geek squad guarantee on a phone. My screen had a 'hairline" crack and there was a broken area where the phone impacted when it fell. The phone works perfectly fine, half the screen is not working nor responding to touch at all. I expected them to change my screen. Went to the desk at my local BestBuy, the rep looked at my phone, processed the guarantee, and told me I would receive a replacement, that normally ships in two days. I was ok with that. My replacement did not ship in two days, It actually arrived at my home in less than 48 hours. It is a refurb phone that appears in perfect condition. Awesome service, it was fast, and the rep was super nice. Certainly worth it.

I don't think my son has ever owned a phone that didn't eventually end up with a cracked screen, so this time when I replaced the phone I bought a 1 year protection plan. I figured if he damaged it after that he was on his own. Turns out it lasted about 6 months. Geek squad gave me no problem. They ordered a replacement which included a shipping label and pouch for returning the broken phone once the replacement was received. Of course there was a copay of about $50 but that was far less than the cost of replacing the phone itself.

I have now had the phone close to 2 years and I have been very happy with it. I wanted a small but powerful phone and it was perfect. So if you want a big screen phone that is hard to fit in your pocket then look at other models. But I love the size. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect 5 stars is because after having it around a year i noticed the battery life going down. Keep in mind that i use my phone alot. But nevertheless, the battery is becoming an issue. So much so that I am thinking of contacting Best Buy because I paid for the extra warranty and that wasn't cheap. But I still think it is a great, quality made phone.

My 14 year old son is tard. I'm not kidding. He drops everything. He's slow because he fell down a flight of stairs as a baby. This protection plan is perfect for kids like him since he drops and break everything. Just like I dropped him. Or did I?

Having this Geek squad plan has saved me tons. I work in a job that's demanding of my cell. Having this plan has made it easy for me when something goes wrong and i need to replace my cell. They've never said no and have processes in place to get you back up and running ASAP.

My husband bought a brand new phone and the 2 year Geek Squad Protection plan since he works at a water/chemical plant and is prone to dropping his phone. Thankfully we did purchase the plan because one week after getting the phone water spilled on his phone and stopped working. We were able to make an appointment online through the BestBuy website, go to our appointment and get checked in immediately. The rep did try to tell us we would need to reschedule our appointment which we told him was not going to happen, but once he verified that my husbands phone would not work we filled out some information, paid the $70.00 fee and was advised that we would get a new phone in within 2 buisness days via UPS. Once we got the new phone in we put the old phone in the same box and put the prepaid shipping label in the large envelope that was provided with the phone and dropped it off at our local UPS store. It was super easy and simple.

So far I have not had to use the accident protection for my products. If I do have to use it I would hope that they are not as rude and inpatient as the man that I tried to get help from in the store and checked me out. I would return the phone I purchased completely if I had not been told several times if I do it will cost me $45. The phone I purchased under the impression that it was better than another one by this person was not at all

No matter the situation, geek squad is the best thing ever to come into our electronic world. Quick efforts to get you back on track effectively and efficiently. I thought this would be a waste of money for the type of products purchased in which assuming they are without default of some sort. Imagine wondering, waiting and worrying about the timeframe for answers to your questions. It would be a total shame if there wasn't a geek squad crew that isn't available for almost every beck and call!

The agent that waited on me was very knowledgeable and polite. I do not know much about phones, and she answered all my questions and more. I came back a few days later and got covers for my phone and had them applied in the store. A fabulous transaction. I have shopped and bought items over the years. Best buy always has been helpful and explain things very well. I will continue to use Best Buy cause customer service and quick response if you have a problem after purchase is always taken care of

I usually don't like to bring in my device for minor problems but they were able to make it right when my problem became severe. I was dropping calls, and not being able to dial out here and there and thought it was my carrier. Turns out it was something else when I accidentally dropped my phone going through a check point. I originally thought nothing of it until I got home and my wife asked why I didn't answer my phone. The drop must have damaged something internally because there was no service, even when working sims were used. They replaced my device and made things right.

I accidently dropped my phone (motorola edge 2020) while it was outside of the case, leading to a visible set of cracks/fractures in the upper left portion of ge screen. While my best buy monthly 2 year protection plan had just expired a week or so prior, I still expected to be able to at least get a screen repair done at some inflated price.
Turns out, they would not have been able to repair the screen (as the squad member put it, they arent equipped to do such replacements for motorola) the best they could have done was put in for a replacement phone. Which, while cheaper than getting a whole new phone, is hardly better than getting motorola's ADH plan and shipping it to them.
If you don't have a samsung or iphone, definitely look into the manufacturer ADH or equivalent protection plans. No point dealing with the middleman.
