I didn't have to use it this time, but I have in the past. I do like the piece of mind this gives me. I don't purchase on all items. But feel it is good protection outside of the normal return policies. When I have used the service, they were friendly and replaced the product in a timely manner. I would recommend on larger purchases; especially ones that you are not comfortable troubleshooting yourself.

Since Xbox has released i have went through multiple controllers. I purchased a package when I purchased my Xbox. With the package Geek Squad Replacement came with it. I have used it very often with Xbox one Controllers and when I replace a broken controller I always add it to the controller! The controller is the easiest thing to break during game play and Best Buy has been excellent in replacing my broken controllers. No questions asked! THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!

I love that you your gift squad product replacement plans. I purchased them anytime I buy electronics for my son’s PlayStation five. They have been great warrantees in the past. There’s no deductible and you can exchange for a new product right in the store without having to return anything and it’s hassle free

I’ve had to use the product replacement in the past. It’s easy simple no nonsense take your broken product in and they replace it. Right there in store no questions. I bought controllers for my switch and the button stopped working after about 10 months. Best Buy replaced it with a product right off their shelf. Highly recommended especially for products that are going to get a lot of handling and use

Being able to be completely worry free for 2 years is a great feeling. I have used this warrenty multiple times. Every time I have had a good experience. No hassle, friendly service, and they want to get you back your product as fast as possible. Among the times I have used it they have only opted to repair once, on a surround system with blown speakers. All other times they took back the old product and gave me a full replacement or the choice for a store credit if a replacement wasn't in stock.

I've had to replace my sons PS4 controller quite more often than I'd like. With the geek replacement warranty, my time has become much better. If anything happens to anything covered, I just walk into Best Buy and walk out with a replacement . No gimmicks, no hassle, Best Buy and the geek coverage are the best thing that anyone can ask for. I always shop at Best Buy even if the price is a little higher, and even then the store price matches so it's a no brained situation.

I spend a lot of money at Best Buy each year and although they have great quality, sometimes electronics do breakdown. In the event something stops working correctly, the geek squad protection makes it easy to get the item repaired or replaced. I purchase the protection for each of my electronics and also get a discount for being a total protection customer

I bought 2 year Geek Squad protection for one of my PS4 Pro game controllers. It was a good decision, because after hours of game play, the calibration between my controller and the games on screen movements started to fail. With the 2 year protection, I was able to return the failing controller back to the store for a new one; and I was back in business.

I bought a nintendo switch controller a year ago and last month it finally started drifting. I'm a light gamer so I didn't notice it right away but since I was still under my 2 year protection plan I was able to replace it for free. I went ahead a bought another plan just in case I catch the drift on my new controller. It's a one time replacement plan just so you know.

Honestly, if you're buying electronics, always, and I mean always get the extra care warranty. you never know when something will go wrong with your item, and Best Buy has an excellent warranty, they are very helpful with it. The one time I've had to use it, their was no problems. I brought in my item, they looked me up, took the product and had me go grab another one off the shelf and boom, done and gone. I highly recommend getting the warranty

Depending on how active your children are and if they are true "gamers" this replacement plan is worth the purchase. I was not only able to get my son's switch controllers fixed for a couple times, but ended having an item replaced under this plan. And I didn't have to pay for a brand new one, so worth it. Definitely got the most use out of it.

I've always been leary about buying "protection" plans. BUT was talked into it for this purchase by my son. Soooo glad I did! Had to use this Geek Squad product replacement recently and I was pleasantly surprised. One of my son's headphones blew out after almost a year. We took them in to Best Buy and NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Got a NEW replacement and was in and out in no time. So I'm believer now. Wouldn't be with it now! :-) Thanks Geek Squad!

My son plays a lot of online games and one day his headphone just abruptly quit working in one ear. There was no sound and there was no visible sign of any loose wires or anything else. We took it back to the store and the Best Buy agent asked us a few questions. Moments later we left the store with a brand new set of headphones. Thanks, Best Buy!

Years ago my father taught me it's never worth it to purchase extra store warranties, but I have learned that for electronics in today's world, that's not necessarily true. Sometimes I purchase these, and sometimes I don't, but especially for gaming-related items like game consoles and expensive accessories, it's a great investment. I've had to make several exchanges in past years, and with Geek Squad warranties, it is NEVER a problem.

The Geek Squad Service is a must have. I recommend purchasing the Geek Squad warranties on all your electronic products. I like the face that Best Buy stands buy their products and are reasonable when it comes to returns when a warranty is purchased. The Geek Squad workers are very knowledgeable and are usually helpful even when the warranty has run out.

Can't beat the protection on certain electronics!! I.e. Bought this for an Xbox controller twice and both times about a year after buying the controller, the analog sticks start going bad. With this protection, i just bring my sticky xbox controller into the store, grab a new one off the shelf, and make an easy exchange.

I purchased a RC Truck online at Christmas for my son. Unfortunately he ended up breaking the truck last week. I took the RC Truck to my local Best Buy to have them replace it on Friday March 3rd. I didn't have any issues getting the truck replaced, and believe it or not the truck was shipped to my home the very next day on Saturday March 4th. You gotta purchase the Geek Squad Replacement Plan it is so worth it.

This insurance has saved me so much money and time with so many products. I purchase it in everything. Biggest this was some very expensive gaming headphones. They crapped out 5 times in a year returned them every time with no hassle from the tualitin Oregon store. just those headphones alone it saved me $1,500 most of which went right back into the store on other products and how I've become an Elite member.

I bought a Turtle Beach wireless gaming headset and had problems shortly after. After being so unimpressed with its build quality, I opted to return them to get something of equal or lower value. I decided on an Astro A40 TR headset, threw in a couple extra bucks to cover the difference and walked out of the store content. The whole process was a breeze thanks to the coverage.
