I purchased the 5 year protection plan on a previous tv. At 4 years and 11 months, the picture started to go out. Geek Squad was fast to come out and diagnose. Unfortunately, they didn't make the part anymore to fix it, so they gave me a gift card for a comparable tv that is 5 years newer. It was a no brainer to buy this protection for my next TV.

Usually I stay away from warranties; however, Geek Squad warranties are the exception. Highly recommend spending the coin if you are buying something expensive.

It's a 5 year warenty. my dad had one of these for his TVs so this was a must get. I know if anything goes wrong my tv will be covered.

The Geek Squad was excellent, but the TV is the problem. At present, the problem has not been resolved. The Hisense H5500G 43" Android LED Smart Tv demonstrates poor picture quality. The picture is often slightly blurred or temporarily cleared. This product is not acceptable. However, it is this Tv not all of them. Apparently, there is a defect.

It's always a good idea to get extra protection plans on anything that you don't want to buy twice because while the quality is great in most of the new technology, any mass produced items have a few flaws once in a while, quality control is really good nowadays but it's always smart to be sure, I've had a few things that I have had to do the warranty on and I was really happy to have it because the manufacturer warranty had expired. I will always get the warranty.

You should always buy the geek squad service when purchasing a device over the 150 dollar range.

It’s best to have protection on the things you buy because you never know what can happen to the things that cost a lot! I love this protection very much and it has helped me a lot aswell

I bought this for insurance for my 98” television. It is a little pricey but the coverage is good and it would pay for itself with one call.

The agent was amazing. He really got everything taken care of, the part that was to be installed was not the problem. He got it worked out. Got a new TV. They brought it to my house because it was over 42". And took the old one. Glad I paid for the warranty. Was worth it for sure

Whenever I make large electronic purchases, I always consider and usually purchase the optional Geek Squad Protection which is typically for at least 5 years. Most of the time, it has come in very handy with address issues with products like when our Whirlpool Washer we purchased in 2007 had numerous issues (never the same problem) over the years which Best Buy fixed each time. Do yourself a favor and consider getting this when making large purchases.

Bought a tv and returned it. The geek squad service fees were also returned. No hassle whatsoever.

The crews are very patient and nice. Though it took some time to get all issue resolved, I am very happy that Geek Squad provide protection to my TV purchase and offered the best outcome

Purchased an OLED tv and I would be lying if I didn’t feel nervous about encountering any issues. Such as power surge issues, burn-in, dead pixels etc. I usually lose power at my house during a heavy storm and living in Florida we get those quite often. So that is a big concern for me and of course the possibility of burn-in. I doubt my tv usage would cause burn-in early on but the peace of mind is worth it. I’d highly recommend geek squad protection

I have learned if I only have to make one phone call for help it has paid for itself. I purchased a new TV for our bedroom, our first smart TV. Didn’t understand why I couldn’t get it hooked up and working. The geek squad tech talked me thru the setup. He was quickly able to tell me I was missing the correct cable between TV and box. He told me what part was required. Once I got that part (a whole different story and review) I was set up and watching TV in less than 15 minutes.
