Buying certified preowned? Its worth buying the extended warranty, especially if the item is still cheaper than MSRP with this plan included. Reduce ewaste, create local jobs, encourage right to repair, and save money while getting dope electronics and comprehensive coverage. Seriously, what is there to lose other than a few bucks? Helped me evem figure out how to turn off the child lock, because I am dumber than a sack of hammers. :3

This design is ridiculous and inconvenient. I have two of these microwaves at other properties. Why would LG add a small button on the right side of the microwave that would have to be pressed at the same time as the button in the front. I order this for a property that was being renovated and did not open the box until last week. The side button makes this unusable with the metal microwave shelf that this was intended to sit inside of. Is this even ADA compliant? I would like a regular microwave with a standard button to open it like the others I have. No one should have to throw up gang signs to simply open a microwave.

My microwave started to rust 1 year after purchasing. I called geek squad and they said this protection plan doesn’t cover rust, only electrical issues. I guess if the rust gets really bad, it may short circuit the microwave and then MAYBE they will cover it . LOL

Have always purchased protection and when I've had to use in the past have been super simple and they are always willing to helpm will always purchase protection plans from them.

Haven’t needed to use geek squad service as of yet. However, I’m sure they’ll be available if a when I need them.

My freezer went out on my refrigator. The gentleman came out and had to call someone else out to repair it. Overall so far it's been worth it.

The Geek Squad is great. Never had a problem they couldn't fix. Always pick them over product warranty.

Geek Squad has changed a little bit. Now. You have to go through the manufacturer warranty. The first year afterwards, you have to go through the geek. Squad program, even though, if you're not satisfied with your product say like a refrigerator the large appliances your appliance has to really be and go through quite a bit before they would. Take it back. I would think my refrigerator would be recalled as a lemon. Even though I've called them back a few times for the same problem.. But I'm happy that they have come out and fixed it multiple times and it's still under warranty. So I'm happy and every other time I've had Geek Squad, they've always have been able to fix it, but with mom playing says they do a change or give you your money back quickly.

Thanks Best Buy ! You have to protect your investments and I'm so glad I bought a extended protection plan .It makes me feel comfortable to know if something goes wrong with my product from Best Buy ,Geek Squad will come to the rescue !!! Thank Geek Squad !!!!!

The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was wrong with my laptop in terms I could actually understand. They diagnosed a failing hard drive and offered a few options, including data recovery and replacement. I appreciated that they didn’t push unnecessary upgrades or services.
