I purchased my air conditioner on April 12 of 2023. The unit had a 1 year warranty. I also purchased the Geek Squad 2 year extended warranty which says they cover your product AFTER the manufacture warranty. Now i come home today and my ac has stopped working i called to get it warrantied and am told i no longer have a warranty that it expired in April of 2025. I informed them they were wrong then they tell me the first year of my extended warranty runs concurrent with the manufacture warranty. So now they are refusing to honor what is written on their website. I have taken screen shots of what is on there and will be reaching out to an attorney to get this fixed since this is a deceptive practice.

I recently had to use this service because my air conditioner would not turn on, I’ve had it less than a year. I just went to the store with the ac and they gave me a credit so I could buy another one. I highly recommend getting the Insurance on any electronic you get, especially the most expensive ones.

it gives me peace of mind for a while. We dont always have a repair person in our area though

4-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection 4-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection I cannot stress how important it is to get the highest protection plan for the longest years applied because if anything should happen to your product you'll be able to bring it back and Best Buy you will either replace it or fix it and if you ask me that is awesome and they have done this for me multiple times this is why I am a returning customer for over 10 years

get the longest warranty possible. I have found that warranties usually expire by the time something breaks but if you get the longest warranty then you can usually utilize it when the items breaks.

I love that Best Buy takes care of their customers with the extended warranty’s. The air conditioning unit I bought have out after a year and a half, they took it back no questions asked and were very helpful and courteous.

I always get an extended warranty. Have never been sorry. When there is a problem it is quickly resolved. This is one of the reasons why I buy at Best Buy. You can’t beat the price anywhere.

I always try to purchase some kind of warranty for all my big purchases I haven’t had to use GeekSquad yet for any of my most recent purchases but I have a couple time years ago and they helped me so much so after that I decided it’s a must to buy when I purchase things I know can possibly break or something happen to it and I can’t fix it.

I purchased the extended service protection. I have not had to use it yet, which is great, but what I can say is that it was simple to purchase, reasonably priced, and the terms were made very clear.

Best insurance out of any electronics shop ive bought stuff from. Any issues ive had with previous items that have had insurance have always been fixed or replaced promptly. Worth the money for peace of mind if anything ever gets broken or needs fixing

Had a delivery for a new exercise bike. Everything was perfect. The drivers were extremely helpful, quick, and ensured no damages to the product and property.

I always purchase the protection, because you never know when something you bought turns out to be defective. That's exactly what happened. I bought a defective product, and there were no questions asked when I took it back to Best Buy. Some people say you don't need it, but from my experience, I would recommend always buying the protection.
