Great Protection,theres a comfort knowing my purchased items are protected

I've had a Geek contract for years. It has the same place in the computer world that AAA does in the motoring world. If you can't afford this service, then you can't afford a computer. 'Nuff said.

The Geek Squad service plan that came with our fire stick was a good plan for free. We haven’t had to use it as we haven’t had any issues yet but I’m sure if we need it we can count on the Geek Squad to take care of us.

Super easy to schedule the installation work was done very fast!

I love Geek Squad’s guarantee and the team members that work for this unit are really knowledgeable. I happy recommend choosing the protection plans offered; sure it may cost a little more but if you can afford it, it’s worth it. I have been purchasing from Best Buy for years and I always chose to go with the Geek Squad Guarantee that if they can’t fix it they will replace it within reason.

Have not had to use it yet on the item I purchased it for, but had a tablet and a computer before and was glad I had it. The Geek Squad I have deal with have always been very helpful and kind. The only negative I would have is that it is a little pricey.

I buy Geek Squad with anything that is an electronic - anytime I have had a problem - they are fast, efficient and worth it! Coverage is transferable too - handy! Spend the extra cash for this - especially for Computers / Tablets / TVs / Washers / Driers - Stuff that gets used A LOT... I have been using this service for years. EXCELLENT.

I highly recommend the service contract for the price is no Brainerd.

One thing I’ve learned about Best Buy with the extended warranty if your planning to use the product and it’s pricy invest in this because I’ve had a printer go bad and other electronic stuff and they look at it tell you to go get another then they actually transferred the remaining warranty to the new one

I always purchase the extra warranty with whatever i buy. In the event anything goes wrong, Best Buy makes it super easy to get problem resolved. Well worth the extra$$

I've had this service to connect my equipment and it is great service. I'd recommend this to anyone who is somewhat illiterate in setting up equipment or that has limited knowledge of electricity installations.

I am only giving it 3 stars because i have never had to use it to repair or replace anything.

Always have protection. In today’s tech world it is very important to keep your valuables safe. Accidents happen. This is a great way to protect your investment.

I recently cut the cable cord and wanted to invest in a streaming device. I have a FireTV but wanted something more future proof, with HDR. The Shield is a good device, you can tell there is a lot of power behind it. All apps have nice interfaces and the device is responsive and quick. The remote is similar to the FireTV and works well. The game controller feels nice too. Overall this is a nice device with some extra features like HDR and the ability to stream games. The reason I only gave this 4 starts is because there is no native resolution mode. Everything from the Shield is outputted in 4K. You can change the resolution to 1080p but then you can't watch 4K. The upscaler seems to need a bit of work and 1080p content upscaled to 4K looks a little blurry and colors are a little washed out. Not a total deal breaker, but a native resolution mode would be nice.

When looking at product reviews, even those that are recommended by outside sources, such as PCMag or other reviewer‘s you’ll have those that all still read these products as one star below because they are broken or lemons, yep they’ll soon after the return policy or warranty is up. This gives you peace of mind that if it breaks outside that. You’re still covered.

Haven’t had a chance to use the Geek Squad yet but I feel protected!
