I love this receiver, it makes my home theater feel worth the small fortune I spent, fantastic interview, phone app, and capabilities! I’m pleased to have the protection too. I don’t want to have to buy another one!

Always great to have the peace of mind of having Geek Squad protection should any issues arise. Have used numerous times in the past for various issues and always taken care of with no problems.

I install my own stuff (tv, stereo, speakers, etc). I purchase the warranty, cause, umm, I install my own stuff and I have a tendancy to sometimes blow them up. perhaps I should have gotten the warranty for that lg dvd player, purchased last year and won't play blue ray anymore . . .eh, I digress. I should have purchased the Samsung model like I did for my parents, but I digress. the warranty is for the stereo. Sony makes good products, and so far my receiver has not let me down. If you are hard on your stuff or have bad luck with electronics, buy the warranty. if you don't want to and like to live dangerously, don't buy the warranty. (perhaps they should offer warranty to locate toilet paper in the bay area, eh??? Just saying).
Highly recommend getting geek squad on electronics

I had an issue with my audio receiver that was an open box purchase, and geek squad just fully replaced the unit! There was troubleshooting but a lot less then I had expected, making a great experience for me! I definitely recommend getting geek squad service on any electronic, as we all know how electronics can be lol

Every product that I purchase from Best Buy I also get the geek squad. I have never had a hassle returnind defective stuff. They just tell me to go get a new product and also ask if I want to add warranty to the new one and of course I do.

Great price for there protection, i feel great about getting it, so far haven't needed too use it but glad i got it , i don,t have too worry about, my items , i take good care of my electronics good surge protectors are run on everything, keep vary clean, lots of air on them , hope not too ever need them but love the service from best buy, Just great

A bit pricey, but covers your high value music product. Have used Geek squad service before for a seamless replacement, so thought on jumping on this for my Sonos product as well. A bit pricey, but considering it is for 4 years, seems worth it.
Will come back and update this in case I face any service issues in future.

I always add this protection to anything I buy over $500. I had a major manufacturer refrigerator, get squirrely on my. They must have come out 4 times and replace parts and service that would have cost my 2x what I paid for it, so it more than paid for itself

When I buy a high ticket item I like to buy the insurance protection. You may not need it but if you do, you are really glad you did. Peach of mind is worth a lot. If you can't afford the insurance protection, you probably won't be able to afford to buy the product a second time if something goes wrong. The bonus is that BEST BUY is built on service and they make it easy. They will definitely make you whole every time.

Havent had to use it yet but having it makes me more comfortable knowing i have it just in case, its best to cover your expensive items or any purchase at best buy.

This is hard to review since the product it was purchased for has not broken down requiring the 4 year service protection. But with all said it is a far better value compared to Apple extended coverage. The only risk you are taking is that Best Buy will still be in business four years from now. I only mention this since big box stores seem to be an endangered species these days.
