The Byrds 20 essential tracks from the box set is a fabulous retrospective of the Byrds music. Turn Turn Turn is presented in stereo, probably for the very first time, along with Mr Tambourine Man, and lots more you may not have heard before. Some have been covered by Tom Petty and other artists. A few of these songs people will argue should have been skipped for others, but all in all the 20 songs you get are worth what you're paying for them.

Yep, I bought this CD for just one song: "Turn Turn Turn" in genuine stereo, as it was available in mono for the longest time (I think even the Forrest Gump soundtrack had it in mono). Anyhow, that was enough for me, but there are a lot of other gems packed into the one CD that others would have made into a two CD set. Very good sound remastering. A good buy at Best Buy.

This CD is great. It takes the highlights from the 4 CD box set, both the classics, and some very good new tracks. Just a reminder that music can be great even without all the technology. If you like good music, this is for you!

I bought this CD because of the low price for the amount of songs on it (20). It was nice to hear songs I haven't heard in years, as well as songs that I knew, but didn't realize that they were by the Byrds. Good value CD.

The Byrds Cd is a great CD. It is really fun to hear some songs from my younger days. There are a few songs I don't like/ remember. It is a good quality sound and a great price.

Good mix of tracks from across the Byrds' career. The word essential is definitely the right adjective to describe the list. Would recommend to a casual fan.

The first 10-15 songs are great, the last few, not so much. The the first ones are worth it.

If you enjoy listening to all the familiar Byrds songs, this album is a wonderful value at $5.99. If a multi disc box set seemed a bit excessive, this release has culled a generous selection of the highlights and pressed them onto one disc. The really worthwhile liner notes from the box set are included here, so it is a kind of best of all worlds. Their music was a bit less wonderful in the later years, so the album grows to be a little much by its end. But imagine complaining there's too much food on the plate!

This is the Best of the Byrds music from the 60's. Lots of songs you will recognize and hearing them will bring back many memories of where you were back in the 60's, if you are that old. Still good music for younger people who like some of the 60's psychedelic music that drove the 60's revolution.

This contains all of the Byrds greatest hits from their stellar career and some assorted other gems on a single CD. Sound quality is superb and the tracks are laid out in order. Great addition to any CD collection.
