this has always been one of my favorite movies! I saw it in the theater when I just a young boy - the Blu Ray version is great, the only thing I could have added would have been a Vudu copy

If a 55" TV is still defined as "the small screen", then this movie translates perfectly well to the small screen. I only wish it had also (both versions in the same jacket) been released in 3D.

A good movie that plays off 2001 very nicely. If you have seen 2001 then you definitely need to see this. Looks very good on Blu-ray.

I watched this movie and remembered when I saw it before on vhs the picture quality and sound are vastly improved.

What a great sequel to the the classic 2001. I’m into science fiction, so this had to be part of my collection.

I've looked for this product for a long time and was unable to find it and if I found it, cost was too expensive. But here the price was excellent and the purchase of this DVD was a good decision!

Great movie! Was very happy to find it on Blu-Ray at such a good price to complement my sci-fi collection.

While it's not quite as good as the first film it still kicks butt. It's pretty trippy in parts.

The DVD was of good quality. It is unfortunate that Best Buy will no longer be selling movies.

As a sequel to 2001 it is pretty good. As a stand alone, even better. The transfer is very clean.

This is still a fun science fiction movie to watch, as long as you ignore the obvious discrepancies in how recent history has evolved, such as there is no longer a Soviet Union, plus the space program is still struggling to go back to the Moon. In practical terms, the idea of mankind being able to send a large manned spaceship to Jupiter is ridiculous. At best, that might happen at the end of the 21st century.

If you liked 2001, you'll love 2010. The story line is great and the acting is superb. I already had this movie in VHS format and was thrilled to get it in blu-ray.

One of my favorite 80's sci-fi films! The blu-ray presentation is a vas improvement over the old dvd release!

It's hard to imagine a sequel to Kubrick's landmark 2001, but Hyams did a great job, never trying to replicate, but instead smartly building up and branching off of previous greatness.

Good sequel. There was a third book in the series. I wish that the third book had been made into a movie.

Love this movie! I've had it on VHS, Dvd and now Blu Ray Slight different edit than I'm used too but of well All good!

I have always been a fan of this movie. For me it never gets old and no matter how many times I watch it. It's really nice to get it on Blu-ray finally.
