Great price for the Best Buy deal of the day. Let it sit for a day to make sure there was no problems with shipping, turned it on and it works great. The only issue I have with it And the reason I did not give it five stars is because when the ice is made it is extremely wet and re-freezes in clumps. Still is very easy to break up the ice and size of cubes is very good

At first one would think, this is too little ice for the first 30 mins. But in the long run one wouldn't know what to do with so much ice! It is small in size, so it don't take much space. Basically it pays it self, make the ice fill your fridges ice tray, buy some baggies fill them. Store some for later whatever. Throwing a party? Make ice beforehand, and trust me it will more than enough.

I crave ice due to being anemic and I was using ice trays before I bought this ice maker. I am so glad that I decided to check into purchasing one. I really like this one because it sits on the counter, doesn't make very much noise at all and it has two different sizes ice cubes. It is very easy to use and and you have lots of ice cubes when you want them.

I bought this when out ice maker in our fridge went out. Very good product. A little loud when dumping ice into basket, but that is to be expected. Not a very large machine about the size of a coffee maker. We don't use a lot of ice so we stick with the large cubes that take about 10 mins to make. We shut it off at night and turn it back on when needed.

Works well on house 120 vac. Makes good ice quickly. Draws 2 amps during part of ice making cycle for peak power of 240 watts, so not suitable for most car cigarette lighter inverters. If fused for 15 amps then only 180 watts is available. Does run off a 1500 VA UPS. Needs relatively clean sine wave power. Very nice unit for the price.

I am an ice cube coniseur, and the last one that I had stopped working for me within six months. I went to Best Buy looking for a different brand and something I can get a warranty on, and found this one had a very good price. It makes the best nice, very quickly, it is so much quieter too. Love it and would highly recommended!!

The only downside to this icemaker is the fact that you need to empty it almost every time it drops ice as it does not keep the cubes frozen. Other than that it is extremely easy to use and works very quickly!

So, I'm Lazy, and i got this neat piece of machinery to spare the time of filling ice trays. just fill the tank with water and press play; every few minutes i empty the ice tray on my ice bucket and get it in the freezer until its full. takes a couple of hours and makes enough ice for 3 days in my house.

Makes ice so much faster than the ice maker on our 2500.00 refrigerator. The reviews I read were spot on, it is noisy and requires transferring the ice to the freezer, but it has already paid for itself in $$ from buying bags of ice at the store.

LOVE this product! So easy and convenient. Makes Ice super fast. Perfect for vacations & parties to make ice quickly versus purchasing multiple bags. We stock up on ice made to use for our coolers and such. When using for drinks, usually make it same day or several days before. :)

the ice maker is a pretty good ice maker for the money and it makes ice in about six or seven minutes i have had these units before and they are pretty usefull and they make about 25 pounds a day and they dont take up a lot of counter space. i would recomend this item.

We love having this ice maker. We make a couple ziploc gallon bags every week or two then store the ice in the freezer and use as needed. The basket fills up in no time. There are two sizes of thimble shaped cubes. So convenient, don't have to run to the store for a bag when we run out. The drawback is ..... The water gets pulled into the ice maker from about an inch up on the side of the water well. (This should be at the bottom) When the machine stops because it needs added water there is still about 10oz remaining in the well. Since we use ours every couple weeks this needs to get scooped out so we can dry it for storage. Tip: I slid the machine and it gouged a deep scratch in my counter top. I make sure something is underneath it at all times.

I seem to go through these icemakers like watercoolers.. They tend to last me only 6-10 months, so I've had 8 or so over the last few years. usually at a cost of $119 - $149 a pop. They just don't hold up for full time use. But when I saw this one on SALE FOR $79, AND I know Best Buy does right by it's customers with extended warranties , I went for this one with a 2 yr extended warranty.. It make a little bit of noise in use, but since our bar is in a separate room off the den, it's no issue for us.. It's VERY CONVENIENT ACCESS with all all clear top/lid, and actually has a smaller footprint than the previous ones we've had, so I grabbed one ... very happy and would recommend it to a friend.

Great product. Keeps producing ice over and over again as long as you keep water in it. If the ice should stick together after going into the freezer, simply bang the ice bag on the kitchen counter and it will all separate once again. Great price as well.

I purchased this ice maker because we never seem to have enough ice in the house. It is a great machine and makes ice quickly and efficiently. I store the ice it makes in gallon zip-loc bags in the freezer and now never run out of ice. it produces a lot of ice (@ 5 1 gallon zip-locs in several hours) and runs very quietly. It can make ice in 2 sizes....small and large. The ice cubes are round with a hole in the middle and last in a beverage much longer than the ice my refrigerator/freezer makes. I highly recommend this machine.

People just don't understand that these portable ice makers are the best! They MAKE ice and it is up to the person to freeze it. This little guy can make up to 26 pds of ice per day if it is put into freezer bags as the bin fills. We have permanent camper and all of us are getting these gems. It saves us so much money from having to buy bags of ice constantly. I do not have an ice maker in my fridge and like all families, no one fills the bin then refills the tray. I now own two of these. One for the camper and one for home. I am rating my second ice maker. My first was a year ago for the camper and I brought it home over the winter. Once I moved it back to the camper, I really missed having one at home so bought our second one.

I have used this since it was delivered. I did not think it would provide enough ice but boy was I wrong. It works fantastically !! I would recommend it for everyone. Produces ice unbelievably fast. Also small enough to use it on the countertop.

I was a little hesitant to purchase an ice maker, not having experience with a portable one in the past. I was happy when I read other reviews on this particular model as well as comparing the price point to others. It definitely makes its first batch of ice within 6 minutes, although I wouldn't say that first batch is exactly usable. As it progresses through each subsequent cycle the quality of the cubes increases. As long as I keep up with removing cubes from the tray and putting them into the freezer this maker keeps on churning. Overall I am happy with the amount of ice this machine produces and the quality of the cube. I like the two settings of either large or small but I typically stay with the large setting.
