We needed this for a place where we do not have city water. With this unit I can use bottled water. It makes 2 sizes of cubes in record time. And if I need to make ice ahead (like for company or a party) I can make in throughout the day, put in gallon ziplock bags and I have ice all evening and it is easy to break up, does not freeze together like some ice bags I've purchased. Doesn't take too much room on counter and stores easily

This little ice maker is perfect for its intended need. We top off the resorivor and let it go to work. Every 2-3 try drops we put in a gallon zip lock and keep in freezer. We keep at least 2-3 gallon bags full of ice so its there when needed. The ice bin is not cooled but ice melt water is recycled, smart thinking. Best ice idea for the price, unit works as advertised and looks nice, got the stainless one, great choice!

Makes ice fast and looks great. I like that it's self contained. Just add water and plug it up.

Just be aware that it doesn't keep the ice frozen, but as it melts, the water is used again for future batches. I let mine run around the clock, and I've always got a nearly full basket of ice. It takes less than 10 minutes per batch of 9 pieces, and it will fill the basket in less than an hour. I fill mine from my Britta pitcher when the water gets low, and I've got a constant supply of lovely, filtered ice.

Our ice maker in our refrigerator is horrible (Samsung 4 door). It takes forever to make ice, makes very little at a time and stores very little. In addition, it freezes up. I bought this to have ice on demand. Makes ice in about 5 minutes. The only down side is the ice melts in the storage section since it's not a freezer. The melted ice just goes in the reservoir for reuse.

I got this for pool parties and if you start it early in the day and collect the ice it will keep up with your outdoor party. I collected quart bags and filled an ice bucket and ice was good for the day. I found the ice did not stick together like other reviewers said. Just a little jiggle and the cubes came apart, like most ice does. Large bullet size setting is good for rock and blended drinks.

We bought this to have at our camping site and it has been working great. 6 minutes to your first batch. The batches are small but the basket fills in about an hour. The small ice cubes don't always make it in the basket so we only use it on large... large is not very big either but perfect for a glass and we usually have a bag to take on the boat as well so we love it.

We really like this ice machine, its alot smaller then that last one we purchased. It makes the ice fast and once it starts the process to make ice it stays pretty quiet. My only complaint is that you have to reset it once in while when it stops making ice. Also make sure to always check the water level, even when there is still water in it, it will stop making ice if it gets to a certain level.

We love this little ice maker and use it every day. My wife prefers its ice to what the freezer's ice maker produces. Our only issue is that it has to be replaced every couple years or so. The last one didn't even last a year, so we bought the extended warranty this time.

We had been looking at ice makers for a couple years for use in our RV. Should have purchased one years ago. Makes ice quickly. About 7 minutes per cycle. We can fill our ice bin in just a few hours. Only comment is that the maker isn't cold enough. Ice begins melting right away. We just empty it in our bin about every 3 cycles.
