    Easy to install and makes the microwave look more custom. The trim kit is more of a plastic material as opposed to a stainless steel.

    We really liked the trim kit that came with our "recently deceased" 18-year old KitchenAid oven and wanted to keep it for a new oven. The available cabinet space severely restricted us to a comparable oven. Chose the Whirlpool over KitchenAid for reasons explained in other review. Had to get this trim kit for the base compatibility with the Whirlpool oven. (Needed to insert a 1/4" plywood insert under the base to get a perfect fit.) This allowed using the older trim kit front which looks great! Much better looking than the plain, solid look of this trim. Mama is happy!!
