4k looks great under 20 bucks grab this if you westerns

Technically a remake, this film holds its own and helped to re-introduce audiences to the western. Good cast and a good story that doesn't lose the raw feel of the "wild west". Recommended to western fans everywhere and anyone who enjoys character drama amid entertaining gunplay.

Great on 4K,,for a modern western ,a pretty good movie.

Owned this on Blu ray for a few years. Love this film. Wonderful cast, lots of action. Russell Crowe always stellar. Logan Lerman stands out, at such a young age. No spoilers here. 4K UHD worth the purchase for the Atmos track alone. Priced right at $14.99.

It was an ok movie. I love westerns but felt it could've been better

Although I haven't seen the original this remake is phenomenal! Crowe and Bale are exceptional actors that make you believe they are the actual characters they play! I have to admit there are slow moving parts in it as all good westerns have but it's still worth 5 stars.

This a remake of the 1957 Film featuring Glenn Ford and Van Heflin. Russell Crowe & Christian Bale are perfect for the parts that they played ... A Bad Guy against the Good Guy Storyline. I would categorize this as a Classic Western as well!

I love this movie! I love the story! I love the cast! It's one of those movies you hate to see end. Definitely a movie you will watch over and over again & thoroughly enjoy it each time! A+++++++++++++

This is really a great western if you ever want to spend an afternoon or evening or night watching the Western and you like action this would be the movie for you I get a 5 stars the plot is really simple good and action is awesome and fun enjoy

One of the few movies I seem to always love regardless of who is in it. This one might not be my top favorite but I LOVE western movies including this one. Christian Bale is great in this one and even loved his new western.

I have been a fan of this movie since I first saw it nearly 10 years ago. I like it enough that it was worth upgrading to the 4K version when I spied it on sale on Black Friday. Glad I did - looks great in 4K.

this is one of the least expensive 4k blurays. i was happy with the 2k bluray but the 4k version offers some nice improvements with color and clarity. the old bluray was no slouch but this was a worthy upgrade

Better than the original and directed well, this western deserves a spot in your collection. Its really cheap in 4k so font bother getting the bluray.

I love this movie. Saw it in college and loved it. Westerns are unfortunately fading away from the mainstream but this was a great film and probably one of the best modern westerns.

Love the original version with Glenn Ford but this is updated version is an excellent film in its own right. The 4K really enhances the experience of this great movie. Highly recommended.

Great western. This will be a classic, to follow in the John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda and other old time westerns. The acting is great. Cinematograpy is good. Great movie for a weekend or rainy day. I recommend it highly.

One of my favorite westerns of all time. 4K brings the colors and resolution to a new level on my 65" 4K TV. Cant go wrong with the movie and the quality and should I say outstanding sound track.

Love the movie, great quality on Blu-Ray, Russell Crowe and Christian Bale played great parts, good storyline, what else can you ask for at a time when we don't get that many good western movies!

Good story and plot. We dont watch a lot of r movies because they are usually so violent, but this was a lot more palatable. Like, bang, you're dead, without the gore. Really enjoyed it. :-)
