Great fun to use this 360 camera... when it works. Sometimes I have to remove and reattach the camera 3 times before the phone detects it correctly. Once it does start, use is simple- just tap. Photo quality is nice, and videos look pretty good too. File size is large as expected, and the trickery to remove the phone from the shot is pretty good. Well worth the discounted rate I got it for with the phone.

I wouldn't recommend this thing unless you specifically need or want 360 camera or you get it super cheap with a package deal like I did. It works fine, takes a 360 picture which looks pretty bad unless you view it with a program designed to use 360 images. An example of this is the app itself or something like Facebook where it lets you drag the mouse to look around. If you open it with a standard image app it will look like a large panoramic image that is cut in half at the ends.

Used the camera once since I bought it. Did connect with the phone and produced 360 panaramic shots. Have not checked out the video functionality. Not really overwhelming considering the price.

This magnetic 360 lens hooks on to the camera so you can take 360 degrees pictures.

Great 360 Camera if you can get it cheap

At $200, the camera is probably not worth a buy. The resolution and detail is just ok and the picture quality is not worth the money. However, for a cheaper price on sale (or free like I got it), the camera makes for a great toy and takes unique pictures which you can share.

ONLY for the Essential PH-1 Phone

This is ONLY for the Essential PH-1 phone. If you do not have one of those, you *cannot* use this camera. If you do have one, you really need to question whether or not it's worth dumping $200 more into an older, unsupported phone when you can buy a better standalone 360 camera for roughly the same cost. I'm shocked to see this still for sale.
I have two PH-1s and two of these cameras. To be fair, photos are decent. Videos are, at best, acceptable. Build quality is exceptional. The fan noise is ever-present and not especially quiet. The camera does tend to stay on the phone unless you're actively shaking it, but it does get hot quickly and it drains the battery quickly and visibly.
