I was keeping an eye out for a good quality, inexpensive LED smart TV for my bedroom & Best Buy came through with the goods. My Insignia 39" LED TV with ROKU Rocks! I was able to purchase it as a deal of the day for $199.00, which was a savings of about $70.00 off the retail price. It is light weight, easy to setup & easy to use. We cut the cable a while back & upped our internet speed. Between the 50 plus over the air local digital channels, plus the streaming programs on Roku, we always have something interesting to watch. The Insignia 39" LED is clear & balanced. It provides a quality picture image. The very simple TV remote is easy to use. No more searching through a billion buttons to find mute. The built in speakers are nothing to write home about. I have never heard a decent sounding speaker setup on a flatscreen, so this wasn't a deal breaker. I run the TV audio out to an inexpensive, external powered speaker sound system, so all is good if sound is important to you & you can go that route. The built-in Roku smart TV works very well & the wi-fi connection on the TV interfaces perfectly with my home wi-fi router. The seemingly endless amount of programs available from the apps on the Roku makes eternal binge watching a realistic possibility, if you choose to spend your time that way. When all is said & done, my Insignia 39" LED TV with ROKU Rocks!

If you're a cord cutter and need an entry level option, this is a good bet. Screen size is a bit odd at 39 inches, but it's a good size for a smaller living room / bed room. This TV is meant for cord cutters. It has Roku TV installed; the remote that comes with it is meant for Roku i.e. there are no traditional number buttons. You can still watch cable with it, but if you lose the Roku remote, you're hosed.

Good Picture, great price range for its size. Sound is a little off we have a hard time hearing voices on all sound settings. Would probably work well with a sound system and just using for picture. Apps close randomly, so far the best working app has been Vudu. Even Netflix has its issues and we aren't far from the router.

I got this TV for Black Friday special out of pure luck and it actually a really great quality tv, 4k resolution makes everything almost seem too life like. The built in Roku is amazing because you normally would have to plug something in like a Playstation or Xbox to play Hulu or Netflix but with this you can do it with just the remote instead of turning on the TV then another system.
