Great product very streardy, I love the preset shots and all the features the app offers

I put a gopro 4 silver on it and a with a gimble. It works so good! The drone works great. Good stability and easy fly controls. Put simple setup too.

This drone is great, very well built, gimbal is very steady and shoots smooth video from my GoPro 4 Black.

This is a great drone and I would give it 5 stars but the customer service is some of the worst I have ever seen. Don't bother to call, you will wait a long time too.

3 flights so far, amazingly stable. With the Hero 4 blk you can take some amazing video footage.

The Solo was supposed to be competition for DJI, for camera ships. Unfortunately, it was not ready for release. I picked one up at the end of 2016, and while it flew well, I had to return it when the controller and copter stopped linking together. Also, the battery life was poor; well under the claimed duration. I wanted it to work, but didn't want a project.

3DR Solo has had its problems from a quad with horrible software and firmware to a better quad with late and finally updated software but now with a company going under due to horrible management and R&D in the production of the original release a year ago. I've had very good results with my purchase and I'm very pleased with its flight characteristics and ease of use.

If you have a GoPro camera this is the best drone for your money. Easy to fly, fast and has incredible preprogrammed flight modes.

This was a gift and my husband is THRILLED!! Tech support is terrific and gives rapid response to questions.

Needed a drone where drone and action camera are separable so that they can be utilized when situation demands, Solo serves it. Being an open (s/w) drone, it's the most future prooof and you get lot of third party accessories, apps. The only qualm I have is, there is no gimbal for Hero5, and 3DR hasn't even planned one in near future. Handling and flying a super simple and a pause (air break) is a real handy feature. I hope, new add-ons appear which give this drone much needed sense and avoid too.

The 3DR Solo is a great camera platform. The gimbal makes the video rock steady! I'm very impressed so far. Very easy to fly.

After taking my Solo out for a few flights I have been very pleased with it. The drone handles very well, even in sustained wind of 10-15 knots with gusts up to 20. The various flight programs and advanced settings are awesome for the novice to experienced drone pilots. I'm currently using the 2.4 Solo and 2.3 Android App software with no issues. Definitely recommend the gimble, the stability and the ability of changing your camera angle and control settings while in flight is well worth it.

Have only flown once, but certain this will be a favorite activity for me and my son. Starts, self-launches and flies exceptionally. Having some difficulty w/ GoPro and gimbal operation, but this is likely user error due to my unfamiliarity w/ quad. Also, will need to research Follow, Orbit and other functions to get most benefit from drone.

The Solo is absolutely awesome and a joy to fly! Even when dealing with 3Dr directly, they will bend over backwards for you and make sure you are completely happy!

Easy use. Great quality only issue I've had is the hdmi port broke off the the electrical board awaiting warranty response Using with hero 4 black Lots of settings easy usability. Takes while to set up perfect to you great app with lessons for flight etc Get external hard drive for large amounts of video storage

This drone used to cost over $1000! Yes they are pulling out of the consumer market but the hardware/software is still fairly up to date. Easy to fly with the on board GPS. BE SURE TO CALIBRATE THE DRONE BEFORE FLYING!!!! Don't get excited and fly it before calibration, it will crash. Get it while its cheap!

Easy to use fun drone. Synced well with my phone. I did have to upgrade the antennas to get better range.
