It is easy to operate this is a real nice drone I would recommend this drone to anyone

I have always wanted a drone, so I researched all of them. If you are a beginner and want a really good camera drone then you really only have 2 choices: the 3DR Solo or the Phantom 3. I went with the Solo because I already have a GoPro. The phantom has a built in camera, but if there is an issue with that camera then you have to replace the whole drone, whereas with the Solo you just swap out the GoPro.

Well just like the gimbal I'am not satisfied with the product the battery doesn't last long as they say it do

It appear to be a well built drone. I didn't do any research before buying like i normally do. It was on sell so I thought it may be worth it. I was wrong. Its not worth $300 bucks. It will not fly without GPS which means you can not fly in a wooded area or your home. Its very sluggish when trying to operate. I own the DJI Phantom 4 pro so maybe I'm just spoiled but regardless. I would not recomment this drone to anyone. Wasn't happy at all. Took it back for a refund which they gladly did. I will stick with my DJI.

Pleasant surprise on how easy it was to fly. It has a high altitude and speed capability which makes it need a longer range. Not really a negative critique because it's range is still around 2 miles. Seems like it's far but in reality, you add height and distance and you will get to max rangebquickly.. loads of fun. Definitely suggest buying the controllable gimbal for the hero 4 black.. awesome

I like it more than DJI. I can use my gopro anywhere. The video is better than DJI.

Don't believe everything you read online about 3DR and the Solo. There is a ton of support and an amazing future ahead for the 3DR Solo. Do a little research. There are a ton of upgrades and fun stuff available for this machine. Check out the app called Solex!

If your looking for a GoPro focused arial platform then this is the one to get. The other brand is more well known, but in the hobby world 3DR is the real innovator. Always has been. This is a solid, well thought out platform that will give you tons of pleasure. I have 5 other drones that operate on the 3DR flight controller, so this was a no brained. And I haven't been disappointed yet.

Did much research on this drone and regardless of the parent company's status, this 3DR Solo has been by far one of the best gadgets I've got. Flying made easy, and capturing images are a breeze once you get yourself a GoPro 3 - 4 ( Hero5 is not compatible) All in all its still selling at a great price from Best Buy for $299.99, look out for package deals as the backpack comes in very handy.
