great product..company going out of retail busines

A year ago it was 1200 dollars for just the drone and a couple of hundred more for the gimbal. The only problem is that the company who makes it is going out of the consumer drone business so you have to scrounge for parts if you need them

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Best Buy to buy 3 of the Solo drones with battery's 3 of them and 3 Gimbal's and all so 3solo bags. It took 2 and a half hours to get everything straight out at the Best Buy. That's a long time considering it took 4 different people including the manager. First they said they could not help me. I was there trying to return and buy again the package deal. What a night mare.

But the drone doesn't have long enough range and is only compatible with couple of action cameras.

Amazing Drone for the price

I actually bought a second one to make sure I had parts if I have issues with my first drone. I recommend this drone to anyone who is looking for a consumer drone which is top of the line. This far exceeds the capabilities of other consumer drones with the exception of obstacle avoidance (poor piloting).

Fine drone for backup

Eventually figured I might fail to maintain flight enough times I would need parts. After looking all around net for a month or two this popped up. Bingo - new motors, legs, body, boards, battery, controller - all cheaper than parts alone. Plus, I have the option to crash two at once.
