A real drone for the geek

Best feature is its designed to be tinkered with on the software. Can easily install OpenCV and program seek and destroy missions based on the camera input. Full featured autopilot. Much more than a flying camera.

Smart & Sad Too

Having a GoPro mounted is a huge asset for picture quality and versatility. Also this drone has a very dedicated cult following for long term info and support. Too bad 3DR is phasing out it's consumer drones.

Good drone, not professional

Cool drone great customer service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little drone and great customer service from 3DRobotics will work with you till you get it running or replace it however mine didn't exactly work well from the factory, will work with apple but prefers android products and requires an update right out of the box, you would think for this kind of money it'd be ready to fly from the box? Great product and service just think 3dr needs to work out a few bugs in either programming or production quality as my solo wouldn't pair even after the update, I decided to return this product and will be looking at either yuneec (roughly same price) or the phantom 4 (much nicer and more features)
