If you already have a GoPro this purchase is a no brainer, not the best drone out there but well worth the money. The smart shots have yet to be beat by another company.

came out with lot of promises for mods but nothing delivered and this is the worst drone I ever owned interms of range - it is never reliable with connection.

For the price, you can't beat it. Now being sold as a bundle as well so it's a great value, very easy to fly and is a simple set up. Only down fall is you need to purchase a GoPro if you don't already have one.

I would highly recommend this drone as long as you already have a GoPro. Only thing I wish was different is that you only get full functionality of this drone if you have a GoPro hero 3 black or hero 4 black.

For the price it exceeded my expectations on how well it flew and level of polish on software and hardware. I own other DJI drones to compare too. 3dr is going just commercial. There is a large online diy community. That's what attracted me to this. As of a month if ownership I have had zero issues.

Hi! I have bought 6 of these Drones - Solo from 3DR - Guess why? I think this is the best drone ever made. I also have 5 Hero4 Black to go with my Solos. I would not consider any other drone, whatever anyone says - for my Solo is the best drone - it does everything I expect a drone can do.

Price is great. Flies well if you get a good one. Had two of them with issues out of the box. Returned them and got the Autel Robotics XStar Premium instead

If your a diy'r this is a great product. out of the box you'll need to upgrade the gps and antenna. if your lucky enough to get the elusive rev.b you'll be in good shape as far as gps. i was only able to lock on to around 8-10 sats and it caused the craft to be very unstable, and drift even fly always. my first fly away was only a 100ft out and i lost all control. i ended up returning because i didn't want to wait the year for the warranty to end so i can mod. ymmv.

This is my first Drone. I enjoy flying it around my back yard. I gave it for 4 because 3dr " the manufacture of Solo Drone" are discontinueing the item witch is making it harder to find parts.

Got the bundle Black Friday shopping. Did have a technical issue with the barometer. They replaced it with no hassle. Even got a price adjustment due to a lower price after I bought it.

Despite the fact that the company is dropping the retail lineup I still bought the drone and I would recommend it to anyone asking....even with this in mind....a great drone that will still have plenty of parts and support due to its unwavering popularity and following :)

The Solo makes a good solid platform for photography. It will hold a nice hover while you concentrate on your photos. And, so far this is the ONLY drone that allows you to control your GoPro camera from the controller. Too bad the company isn't making them anymore.

Bought for my adult boys and they are in heaven. I did not get the camera or backpack and would have if the associate had told me about needed items. They have really enjoyed it
