Overall the drone was great. The app was easy to use and operate, but account sign in is no longer available. Also I wish they had a failsafe mode after hitting an object.

If only 3DR was still in production. Missing out on props and any updated hardware. Never had an issue flying besides my own slip ups. Worth a go at the price right now.

Couldn't resist the sweet deal. After reading all sorts of reviews, I realized that there were all sorts of biased opinions everywhere. This is my first drone/quadcopter and I'm super happy to have it. Everything is working well and I haven't had any issues.

I purchased this drone about a month and a half ago. The unit is very responsive and works as promised. Only negative it that it took a while to get set up and running.

3DR Solo Drone is good for a beginner but not a toy drone. Will required a little bit of flight knowledge and a purpose of use. If you want just to flight a drone pickup a less expensive one. If you want a great experience thsi the drone for you.

Found it Deal of The Day for $399. Anticipated on spending over $1,000. Used extra funds to buy Hero 4K Black, another battery, Pelican Storm case for GoPro, B&W International 6000 case for Solo Drone and PolarPro LED light kit. Massive savings!!!!

I started using the Phantom in my video business, but once I switched to the SOLO my work improved drastically. Its such a great copter and platform. Everything works as advertised.

Although 3DR is no longer in the consumer drone business the community of supporters will help this drone live on. I have purchased a few Solos and am very happy as the Are now only about 10% of what they cost just 6 months ago.

Couldn't pass this deal up. 399 for a quality drone plus accessories? Won't find that anywhere else. Good drone for someone who is just starting out.

I am a indie filmmaker and I needed an affordable drone to get higher production value out of my projects. The 3DR Solo is just what I needed. With the combo of a Gopro camera, I am high flying with shot from an aerial view.

Dont buy this drone if you want a one of. Let the lingering entbusiasts snap them up as their budgets allow. For those that see the possibilities with these machines, This abandoned platform will be a test bed for develooment.

My first drone and I am very impressed with the technology 299 can get you. Used to cost 1400 for the same set up. If you have a GoPro, go for it. You won't be disappointed. Join the FB groups for more info.

Best drone for the money right now. Does not matter that 3DR is no longer going to develop for the Solo anymore, the open source community is slowly taking over and will so be doing their own software updates.

I'm just worried about future support because this company is going out of business. Overall, it's a great drone if you have a GoPro.

The 3DR Solo was easy to setup out of the box. I did have to purchase leg extenders so the Gopro didn't touch the ground.

It truly is the best drone for the money. These sale prices are remarkable and the quality of the product it top notch and the product performance is incredible. I have two, thinking about buying a third.

It's beautiful to look at but takes some tutorial videos to fly w comfort. Also, remember to take out foam by battery, from controller. Otherwise it won't connect properly. Would've loved to have known that before wasting power of the drone battery "waiting to connect". It's loud but strong and definitely needs space to maneuver. I have an HTC and once connected didn't have problems w camera clarity or timing.

3DR solo is fun but takes awhile to set up, once it is the flights are extremely entertaining.

I love this drone, I've had a blast with it so far. Just make sure your first flight is in an open area. Safe flying people!
