Drone, gimbal, extra battery and propellors. A steal for $400. Took this on a trip to Europe and got some great shots with my GoPro Hero 4 Black. Wish it was compatible with the Hero5, but that's why it's on sale I guess. Occasionally the link between the drone and controller takes a few tries. But if you have patience than you should be ok.

This thing is easy to use and a lot of fun. I loved it so much I bought another one. It rocks.

This Is A Good Drone For The $300 That Best Buy Is Currently Selling Them At. But I Would Not Recommend Paying More Than That.... It Fly's Great But Definitely Has Some Glitches. Be Prepared To Lose GPS Signal On Occasion And When That Happens Be Prepared To Fly Manual TO Prevent A Fly Away!.. Also Does Not Have Long Range.

This is a nice quad and still reasonably sophisticated, it does a good job of aerial filming and is easy to fly once you understand how things work, there is alot of support online. Flight time is a bit limited at 12 to 13 minutes @ 6000 ft elevation, you do need a go-pro 3+, 4 or 5 to use the gimbal ( gopro 3 to use the fixed camera mount) and a smart phone or tablet to access all the features as well as being the FPV screen, it can be flown as a "line of sight" sport copter without the gopro or phone) If you already own the phone and go-pro this is a really good deal considering the other choices in this class. I have been flying quads and tri-copters for 4 years and feel this is well constructed , well thought out, and easy enough for first timers. ( Do the research and understand the machine, this is not a toy) Purchase is painless from Bestbuy and shipping is fast.

I had owned a couple of drones before I bought my Solo, so I was not totally new to the hobby when I got the drone. I must say I have had so much fun flying it these last few months. I have only had a couple of minor issues that 3DR tech support was able to walk me right through fixing. Their tech support is far and above any other drone manufacturer! I also love the fact that 3DR will replace the Solo, and camera if your drone ever has what is know as a fly away. I have been really pleased with this machine and would recommend it to anyone interested in the hobby.

Have only flown this drone a few times, but so far it has worked flawless. Owned another drone before this on so I have had some experience flying. Easy controls, built in programing, works with Go Pro camera, this thing has it all. Got it for a great price at Best Buy, included gimbal, extra battery, props, everything needed to fly. Great deal!

I bought this drone to have fun with and also get some aerial footage of some land for a prospective buyer to see. The solo was easy to command once it was set up. To test how accurate the "return home feature" was, I set a pair of keys on the ground, flew the drone and then hit return home when it was 500 feet away. It landed within 2 inches of my keys. Cool technology. Also, there is a forum for this drone that many comment to regarding ideas and issues. I would buy another...and might have to if one of my kids "borrows" it.

Great drone with nice features. This drone is an addition to my current fleet. Easy to fly. Not a 5 due to extremely long time to update and I have had two total disconnects while in flight.

It is a good drone but it doesn't have the sensors that the phantom series has. It depends on GPS to work. And the gimbal is required for actual footage. So in the end the price is just as good as a mavic pro or a dji phantom 3/4. But if you have a Gopro then it's a great drone for the price.

First drone, testing out for professional use. No issues, easy to use...would highly recommend.

this was a good item, easy to fly, range is not that great, but good price, and easy to fly, sad that best buy don't carry any spare blades in any of their stores. not sure why they sell this item with no spare parts.

So here is the deal. Just like the other reviews I must tell you that I have the following drones: 1. Phantom 4 2. Phantom 3 Pro 3. Phantom 3 4. Mavric 5. BeBop2 6. Solo 3DR So I got the solo because of the sale and enjoyed it for about 11 mins. That about how long I got out of the battery. That sucks. For this kind of money the batter should last longer. I went on the internet and noticed that other people were getting about that much time out of theirs and that was without flying crazy. Pass on this.

I own a Phantom 3 Pro and decided to get this since Best Buy was offering a great bundled price. I have only flown the Solo for 4 flights so far and really like the features it has to offer. It flies very stable and flying time is about 5 minutes less than my P3P. It also syncs flawlessly with my Nvidia tablet and Samsung Edge 7. I recommend this quad if you are happy flying under one mile range.

3dr doesn't make these anymore, but the drone is a fine product. The features and ease of flying make this unit very fun. Recording video is simple and you can even see the drone at night with the bright less it has. Speed is about 40mph. The control has a display and vibrates to warn you on range and battery power. I have 2 of these and love them.

3DR engineered a great quad in almost every way. Only problem is the HDMI is not up to par with the level of quality that 3DR typically demands. It rubs the top of the gimbal and dampeners, causing the video to cut out. Needs to be reengineered. Big disappointment for a such a critical part. They got it 95% right.

The 3dr Solo is the best drone I have found. It is extremely easy to use. Although I do not recommend it, It is so easy to fly a 5-year-old could easily fly this drone.

If you are new to all of this the support from 3DR makes solo the no brainer choice for a copter. Have had mine about two months and am shooting like a pro. Great community of users on facebook too. Love this thing
