This is my 3rd machine and I love it! It’s like Sonic Ice but better! (No offense Sonic) They take little to no set-up and learning. Super easy, low maintenance, and AMAZING ICE! I believe they start producing ice within 12 minutes (maybe a bit more/or less) and I can tell you the ice bin (in a family of 4) is hardly ever full but never disappoints in producing enough. I started searching for an ice machine in 2019 after realizing how much money my bf and I were putting out for Sonic's Ice every week.... I FOUND IT very quickly. My 1st machine (the Opal 1) came from Amazon! It lasted for 2 + years and over 4 moves. Then came my 1st Opal 2.0 - which is a way better machine, with wifi and app capabilities, scheduling and interior light, etc etc and it’s a huge step up from the original machine - way to go GE! But it just got replaced by Best Buy due to a faulty sensor - it happens but Best Buy had it sent out, serviced, and word back to me in a week… which is before the 2 ½ week expected timeframe they gave me to expect word back by (6/2/24) - it was being replaced ... NO COMPLAINTS! I got word yesterday(5/23/24) and the new one today and all set up. I love these machines so much and have a lot of friends and my aunt turned on to them. If you’re looking for a countertop NUGGET ice machine - Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!!! Oh, and btw, The cleaning is NOT difficult or tiresome either. It’s a simple and easy process! Also, I should note… Best Buy’s protection is BY FAR -- THE BEST. AND GEEK SQUAD - OLIVIA AND ANN ARE AWESOME - NO DISRESPECT AND NOT DIMINISHING THE ROLE OR IMPORTANCE AND OR VALUE OF ANY OTHER GEEK SQUAD MEMBER - JUST MY EXPERIENCE WITH THOSE 2 HAS FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPERIENCE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES / TECH SUPPORT IN MANY OTHER PLACES. I don't buy from anywhere else after realizing how beneficial it is over others to the consumer. BEST BUY takes care of their customers and your devices/appliances and turnover is pretty good.

BestBuy employees helped load this into my truck on curbside pick up. Upon arrival at home and opening the box I noticed the fridge is packaged very well with foam and tape no damaged parts were found. This item fit into the space I removed my old dish washer from in my kitchen perfectly. It cooled down very fast and had it to temp and in use by the next day. You're also given the option to have the interior LED lights stay on all the time or only when the door is opened as well as a door chime to alert when the door remains open. My only negative remark will be that the door magnet is a little on the weak side so you need to close the door slowly and ensure it didn't bounce back open.

Omg I’m in love! Hate, I waited so long to get one. I get ice even when I don’t need ice, lol!! And as soon as you get ice from the machine, it immediately starts to make more ice. And it’s very quiet! This has been my best investment when it comes to my household appliances.

Professional and polite. I’m amazed at how fast they can remove a door and replace it. Wow. They are also strong. Two people carrying a huge refrigerator was a site to watch. Refrigerator worked perfect before they left and they answered all my questions without getting frustrated.

I have to say that I have never returned an item with such ease as returning my GE opal icemaker to my Best Buy store after it stopped working. Fortunately, I had the four year warranty and they quickly offered me a full refund on the Best Buy card and I turned around and purchased a new one.

I purchased as a replacement for a wine fridge we had that died. It fits perfectly in the built in space, almost like the cabinets were custom made for it! I love having 2 separate spaces. It came with both metal and wood racks and there were more than enough provided. Delivery was great as usual. I would highly recommend this fridge!

We loved our ice machine until it gave out. We used our ice machine on a daily basis. We also cleaned it very frequently and just one day the display had a capital E on the lower right corner. Luckily for me and my family I purchased the extended warranty. Now back to Best Buy I go.

The Insignia ice maker is a Best Buy brand. I use highly filtered water and will descale as recommended. It has its own warranty but I’ll have peace of mind knowing I have an additional avenue of recourse if there is a problem.

I recently purchased new appliances for my kitchen including stove/oven, Dishwasher and microwave. The front left burner on my Samsung stopped work in less than a year. The Geek Squad service representative was excellent, knowledgeable, neat and professional.

The mini fridge is just what I needed for my dad and I love that the freezer space and fridge our separate.

Definitely worth the price! I can have ice any time i want. Comes with a convenient water tank. I think the only downside is the cleaning, i wish it was more easy access to descale/scrub. Picture below was cleaning day

I'm won't worry about the icemaker for 2 years. I figure by then I have gotten my money's worth. I took it out of the box and set it up all by myself so I did not use the Geek Squad to just install it on my counter.

This is an amazing fridge I keep it in my bedroom for drinks we love it!

I love this briefcase! Its orange lining inside allows me to see everything I have. Excellent quality!
