This is my 3rd machine and I love it! It’s like Sonic Ice but better! (No offense Sonic) They take little to no set-up and learning. Super easy, low maintenance, and AMAZING ICE! I believe they start producing ice within 12 minutes (maybe a bit more/or less) and I can tell you the ice bin (in a family of 4) is hardly ever full but never disappoints in producing enough. I started searching for an ice machine in 2019 after realizing how much money my bf and I were putting out for Sonic's Ice every week.... I FOUND IT very quickly. My 1st machine (the Opal 1) came from Amazon! It lasted for 2 + years and over 4 moves. Then came my 1st Opal 2.0 - which is a way better machine, with wifi and app capabilities, scheduling and interior light, etc etc and it’s a huge step up from the original machine - way to go GE! But it just got replaced by Best Buy due to a faulty sensor - it happens but Best Buy had it sent out, serviced, and word back to me in a week… which is before the 2 ½ week expected timeframe they gave me to expect word back by (6/2/24) - it was being replaced ... NO COMPLAINTS! I got word yesterday(5/23/24) and the new one today and all set up. I love these machines so much and have a lot of friends and my aunt turned on to them. If you’re looking for a countertop NUGGET ice machine - Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!!! Oh, and btw, The cleaning is NOT difficult or tiresome either. It’s a simple and easy process! Also, I should note… Best Buy’s protection is BY FAR -- THE BEST. AND GEEK SQUAD - OLIVIA AND ANN ARE AWESOME - NO DISRESPECT AND NOT DIMINISHING THE ROLE OR IMPORTANCE AND OR VALUE OF ANY OTHER GEEK SQUAD MEMBER - JUST MY EXPERIENCE WITH THOSE 2 HAS FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPERIENCE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES / TECH SUPPORT IN MANY OTHER PLACES. I don't buy from anywhere else after realizing how beneficial it is over others to the consumer. BEST BUY takes care of their customers and your devices/appliances and turnover is pretty good.

Omg I’m in love! Hate, I waited so long to get one. I get ice even when I don’t need ice, lol!! And as soon as you get ice from the machine, it immediately starts to make more ice. And it’s very quiet! This has been my best investment when it comes to my household appliances.
