This unit is a beast. I purchased a more expensive unit for myself (with 520 watts) and this unit for my sister. I set up this Insignia unit and compared it to mine, side by side. I am really happy with my soundbar, but the sound on the Insignia is also good. I wish the Insignia came with an HDMI connector. It does have RCA connectors (Red and White) that you can connect to the back of your TV. Most TVs can connect that way. You can also connect with an Optical cable, for $20, if you prefer. My sister was impressed with the sound.

I always try to take advantage of the Geek Squad product replacement plan. I like being able to return an item if it goes bad without the hassle of shiping it off to someplace . Over the years I had to replace several products after they had gone bad and it was no problem to go into the nearest best buy and at times get the next generation of a product out if the model that I was using was no longer availble. So yes for me paying a few extra dollars was worth it. The only time that I might not pay for the extra protection is when the coverage that I am trying to get is close to a hundred dollars for the item, such as some tablets that I have bought, however that might depend on the item because I got coverage on a washing machine and a dryer at one time and although I may not have to ever use it at least I know that I am covered and for me that makes it worth the peace of mind that I will get. So in conclusion you have to way the risk that you are willing to take and for me it has worked out well over the years and I have no complaints.

Would've been a great addition to my 98in tv but unfortunately I didnt have the space for that amount of sound output. Will be buying again for my future home.

Geek squad always takes care of you always by the extra warranty

Soundbars for TV’s are like popcorn for your Movie Theatre experience. You don’t need it, but you are missing the experience if you don’t have it. I’ve been using a competitor brand soundbar for around 3 years now and I can no longer go back to not having one. For those of you that have more than one monitor for your computer at home or at work, you know once you go more you can never go down again. This Samsung soundbar has amazing immersive sound with the Dolby Digital 5.1 DTS Virtual:X it will seem like you are there! It completely surrounds you in a 3D sound effect. It encompasses you from in front, both sides and even bounces off the ceiling. There is a dedicated center speaker that enhances the dialogue, so you don’t have trouble hearing the dialogue over the noisy background noises or explosions.

Had a TV with this coverage. Had a problem with it and called service. Still had 1 month left on my 2-year plan. They first offered la freel replacement but that model wasn't available. They offered the full amount I paid initially toward any TV they had. Just so happened a bigger, newer TV was on sale for $22 more. I paid the difference, they delivered the new one, returned the old one and I'm one happy puppy. Even got the 5-year plan on the new TV. I really like the way they handled this problem. You will, too! I really recommend!

Got this as a surprise gift for my wife. She was surprised and worth the cost and quality. Great purchase for safety.

Ins is wonderful when your product stops working. Yes the insurance does pay for a tech or send you a new one

If this is in your budget? Just get it is a solid unit after all the firmware updates and tweaks? Rocks like the Casba! The GOAT is in da house lol.

The geek squad service is very worthy you will be glad to have it. You just go to the store they take care of you and your item. They call you if anything, is not a plain warranty service they actually care.

This system is very loud, and gives clean sound quality.

Hopefully I’ll never use this but it is inexpensive insurance.
