As you can see by my Nick name, I like most things Samsung, and when my old Home theater system died after 8 years (Samsung too), I decided to replace it with another Samsung. I am not fully satisfied with this "new" unit. First of all, what was the Samsung software engineering team thinking? You can't adjust the user defined equalizer preset while actually listening to music??? This is very elemental and it should have been a no brainier. In reality, you have to switch away from BT, Aux, FM radio, etc. to go into settings and adjust the user equalizer preset and then go back to a music input to see if it sounds different??? My old Home Theater System had a dedicated button to adjust per channel db and much more. I am talking about the user defined eq preset (you can use the remote to cycle all of the eq presets, including the user defined eq but not adjust anything with music, it has to be done in total silence?). I want to be able to hear something while making eq adjustments to the user defined eq preset! Another annoying thing is that if you want to listen to the FM radio while connected to HDMI to a Samsung TV (Anynet + ON), the TV switches input to TV and then the radio starts playing. So, I had to turn off Anynet and now the TV stays on the HTS input and the HTS goes to the FM listening screen. Finally, why not keep comparability with old HTS remotes? The new remote is a joke, couple with the fact that the front plate doe not have a preset button. So, if you loose your remote, you will not be able to switch stations. My older Samsung HTS Unit that had a button in the front plat to switch between all of the FM station saved presets. This things should not be designed as disposable units. If Samsung design and quality does not go back to how it used to be, for Home Theater Systems, this recently purchase unit will be my last Samsung HTS (3 months old at the time of this writing),

This is my second Samsung Blu-ray Home Theater System from Best Buy. The rear wireless speakers are great for surround sound and the interactive menu is easy to use. Sound quality is excellent. Highly recommended to friends and family.
