So far I am pleased with this home theater system. It sounds good, picture is nice, and the anynet controls work well with my Samsung tv for integrated controlling. The only thing that kept me from 5 stars is that I wish the software itself was a little different and that eq could be,changed from any source as opposed to only in bluray/DVD mode.

The system itself is great , yet I’m a little bothered by the functionality of it. When I️ power up my tv it automatically comes on which is great at times but a nuisance at others. I’ve yet to get the wireless speakers to act correctly. I️ got this item open box though for a great price so i wouldn’t dare complain.

Great sound just not enough bass for me. Great product for the purchase. I have a deftech w studio for my living room... Love that bass...if I could turn the bass up some more on the Samsung it would be perfect. Not bad at all though for a true surround sound. 13 hours is great on this system. Bluetooth is awesome as well

We got the blu-ray theater system to replace the old dvd theater system we had. The only thing wrong with the old system is that you could not play the TV thru the system and the volume on the TV had to be turned all the way up in order for us to hear it since we have such a large room. This blu-ray theater system lets us watch regular TV which is perfect. We are no longer missing the conversations on TV. This system was very easy to set up and we are not a technical household. I would definitely recommend this product.

After owning a Samsung - 5 disc carousel / surround sound system, I had hoped from the reviews that this might be a nice replacement to it. The sound quality was ok but not what I expected. The setup was very straight forward and simple. The rear wireless system was nice even though there are wires from the receiver unit to the speakers but that was ok because they were going to be hidden anyways. The main unit self linked to the receiver and there was nothing hard about the setup screen. The mids and highs were really crisp and clear however the bass speaker left a lot to be desired. I had the gain turned up to the max and even with a lot of bass signal from the video, the bass was very weak and unresponsive. The old carousel system would rattle the windows if I wanted it to. I was also reading that though this system would support 3D videos, i did not support 4K. As I only have a 1080P/ 3D system, for he moment it was not an issue but one to pay attention to. The real problem started when tried to stream a movie with VUDU. My wifi is through a major cable provider and I have a 60mb download speed. While trying to watch the movie, the video would pause every 5 seconds then play again. It was extremely annoying. I tried to use the Youtube app but ended up with the same results. I did make sure as the reviews suggested to update the unit before I started setting it up. The final straw was while switching between the menu options, the unit would not allow you to make another selection in the menu for several seconds after you finished with one. Even switching between input modes took awhile. Someone else noted this in the reviews and I had hoped it was just an isolated issue. I took the unit back and explained what was happening and BestBuy took it back with absolutely no issues.

Excellent dud player and sound. Easy to install. Only downside is the apps are not easy to install, or access them at a later time.

The product is easy to install, good sound quality. HDMI and optical sound connection to the TV uplifts any show to surround sound quality. I would have give it a 5 stars but . the controls for the volume are misplaced on the remote (two tiny + - buttons on the first row) and no volume control on the receiver itself.

Easy to set up and reasonably priced. This replaced an older Samsung Theater and it's just as good or better.

i've always had confidence in Sony products and this is no exception. Best bang for your buck in this price range, happy to find it includes the MLB app among all the other usual netflix, hulu, youtube etc. nice sound, only wish it had wireless rear speakers but thats not a deal breaker.

There was really not much choices at Best Buy for an HTIB. So ended up purchasing Samsung. System worked great and synced up nicely with my LG TV. I originally had an LG HTIB before where the Blu-Ray player (built in the receiver) died so had to get a replacement. Can't just buy the player/receiver so had to buy the whole HTIB system again. The Samsung actually was a LOT better than my LG. So I ended up with a better system which worked out it pretty good at the end.

This system is user friendly with many smart features. Sound quality is great and unit many adjustment options.

System was easy to assemble, I'm still learning, but generally things are acceptable. One thing it lacks is the back speakers only work when playing a DVD.... the system I replaced, played all speakers for all input sources. I still need to learn more, to give it a more accurate review.

This was my first HT purchase and i am satisfied with it. It was easy to install and the sound is good. Im not a very sound enthusiast so I cant comment on that, but it was a great upgrade from my Tv sound. The Blue ray is also good and I like the clean interface it has. An advice, to check the sound system, get a Blue Ray Disc. Not all the speakers work when you are streaming. I first thought that the system was faulty but worked perfectly with the blue ray.
