I've been using Norelco beard trimmers since the '90s (25 years or so). I had 2 previous models that I used, the first before they offered a vacuum feature. I debated whether to get the second because of the vacuum (who needs it?). It was actually a great feature. Both of the 2 models I had previously were easy to use (easy to hold shape--ergonomic, I guess) and easy to clean, esp. the last one with the vacuum. Both of those 2 models broke down, first due to battery failure--meaning I had to keep it plugged in to use it, then due to who knows what--just stopped working. Then Norelco comes out with this series--weird non-ergonomic shape and next to impossible to "clean" (no matter how much you try you won't actually clean out the residue). I mean, really, Norelco had the perfect design and they scrapped it to come out with this. No, I won't buy Norelco again unless they bring back the old design. 3 stars because it works (for now).

This product is easy to use. The adjustable length for each attachment is a great feature. It keeps about 95% of the hair inside the removalable storage. The removal cover is easy to remove and cleaning us easy. Good product at a very fair price.

It's the best combination of vacuum and adjustability, but within a year or so, the head of the shaver will no longer stay seated in the handle and it will have to be replaced. I'm on at least my 4th one. If anyone made a comparable trimmer that lasted longer, I'd leave this behind in a heartbeat. But most either don't have the vacuum function or the trimmer settings aren't as adjustable.

I had a tight shave with one of the connectors. The vac picked some of the hair but not all of it. Overall good trimmer.

This trimmer works great, just as advertised. The quality of components is very nice. The dial adjustment for different sizes is great and works well. The biggest issue, as noted by others, is cleaning. It is very difficult to clean all of the hairs out, due to grease from the mechanics, and non-removable panels. I would recommend this to others, noting that cleaning is a secondary need and it does the primary job very well.

I finally had one of the comb teeth break on my very old trusty Norelco which also had the vacuum feature. My biggest concern with beard trimmers is the combs; will the combs be prone to poke me in the face each stroke )or are they shaped in such a way that they will glide well over my face and still so the job). This Norelco is comfortable for that and very efficient at cutting my hair and the vacuum definitely reduces the mess. Not thrilled about having to remove the head every time I want to clean out the hair chamber (old one had a door). But, it seems pretty robust and I don't see a strong need to do this every single time I shave so that I can minimize how many times I am taking it apart.

I love this shaver. The vacuum sucks up the hair as I shave, so there is no mess in the sink. It gives me a close shave, with no irritation. The charge lasts quite a while. I recommend it highly!!!!

This trimmer works very well. The vacuum feature and the click to change cuttings heights are nice.

My husband needed to replace an older model and I bought this one. He loves it. Easy to use and keeps a long charge.

I can't believe I waited so long to try a trimmer with a vacuum! I have never owned a vacuum capable one before so the whole experience is really satisfying. First off, it is not going to get all of the hair you are trimming but it does get around 90% as it says on the box. Still good as the amount of hair I have in my sink after a trim is nothing compared to my previous trimmer which makes for less time spent cleaning up and less time unclogging drains! Overall, I like the style and various settings for length on the trimmer, which increase by .5 increments. You definitely want to test this at the highest setting depending on your method of trimming so you don’t over cut by accident (I am guilty of this). From my last few trimming sessions I got an nice even cut and didn’t have to fuss around with grabbing multiple clip sizes as I just need to adjust the dial on the trimmer itself to get the right setting, very easy! This unit is also fairly quiet in comparison to my previous trimmer and considering the vacuum function I am impressed with the low noise. This unit also charges quickly and gives a good amount of trim time, I have used it about 6 times so far with no need for charge yet. This is a must have for any guy who wants to keep trim and not make a huge mess as well as do all this in a shorter amount of time than with traditional style trimmers. Highly recommend!

User friendly, trims my beard well and easy to empty and clean

It works good according to my husband. He says it's a little loud, but not too bad. It's more like a hair trimmer in size, which he doesn't love, but it works. He goes through them every few years. He likes the vacuum.

This was a gift for my husband. He had trouble trying to figure how to use it at first but he was able to figure it out. He has been using it and loves it. I love the fact that it is a vacuum so I don't have to worry about all the hairs on the sink

Trims great if kept in good condition and vacuums most of your hair trimmings. Dedinatlt worth the purchace.

Functions admirably. had to replace the previous generation because of the head not latching well on the body. I had points to use so I was able to slash down the price. pretty neat device literally because it helps cut down on the mess at the sink, then I just leave the rest of the mess for my wife to clean up. lol

Does a good job and really easy to use and control the length, but it doesnt control all the trimmings so i still get small hair all over my sink. Definitely catches a lot of it but still doesn't collect 15-20% of the shavings.
