This is my third Norelco beard trimmer. The previous two were good; this one is better. It quietly cuts through my coarse beard with ease, and holds a charge for many uses. The case and instructions are mediocre, i.e., in contrast to past models. I would have very much appreciated a hard case.

This is a replacement for a Norelco I had for years; was time for a new one and this one does the job.

This trimmer is pretty cool. The vacuum function grabs 80% of the hair. ...and it seems to hold a charge forever! Just wish it got a little tighter to the skin.

The Phillips Norelco - 7200 Beard Trimmer has exceeded my expectations. It works great.

Works as expected. Collects about half of the hair while trimming, unlike advertised, but still a handy feature. I wish the lowest setting is 0.5, but I wish it gave you the ability to use it bare like you can do with regular trimmers for closest trimming. I tried using it without any clips directly on my face hoping for the near-cleanshave experience (which I do all the time with Wahl), but it hurt my skin really bad and I quickly realized that it cannot be used without the clips so you HAVE to start at 0.5. Otherwise, its a good solid product.

Cuts precise and long battery life. Only negative so far is that it is hard to clean, it would be easier if it opened from the front like other models

By far the best beard trimmer I've ever owned especially with the built in vacuum.

Holds the depth setting in a very positive way (no slip, slide or undesirable shift to a tighter cut). Holds a charge for a long time. Cleaner than most as it mostly contains the clippings - not perfect in this regard but pretty good.

I wanted to upgrade my 3 years old trimmer. It was basic and served the purpose, however, it took longer to charge and the trimmed hair would spread all over the sink. Phillips Norelco 7200 kind of changed my life. First of all the blades are sharp and really good. Secondly, it gets charged in minutes and stays charged for at least 7-8 times of trimming. It definitely serves the purpose of not leaving the mess. However, since it takes all hair, it is a bit a hassle to clean the trimmer.

Nice trimmer does a great job only drawback is cleaning it's a little time consuming having to disassemble trimmer head, unlike previous models where it was just a door you opened and dumped out trimmings

My favorite things about this: Excellent battery life, the vacuum function (gets about 80% of the hairs), the lengthy selector is great with a digital readout and won't accidentally be move during trimming (a problem I've had with others).

Beard Trimmer works great, but it is hard to clean. It does minimize the amount of whiskers that you need to clean out of the sink.

I had a Norelco vacuum trimmer in the past and it worked well, new style works nice, but you have to remove the head to dump out hair, old model had flip door which was easier to empty. Still beats hair all over sink.

It actually does work when it comes to vacuuming the hairs. All my friends' girlfriends and wives made them buy it. It works well for haircuts as well. I would say it picks up about 95% of all the trimmings. Solid durability as long as you're not aggressive with it. Blades washable big plus as well. The only thing I didn't love was the fact that it cannot really get my mustache trimmed well, but I have a mustache trimmer already, so it's really not a big deal for me.

Its surprisingly quiet, and the built-in vacuum does a decent (not great) job at keeping trimmed hairs from landing on your shirt.

While the vacuum thing isn’t as good as advertise I will still give this five stars for just being a great shave all around. Super easy to trim the beard with and love the comfortability and battery life.

I sometimes sport a beard in the winter and was looking for a trimmer to keep it neat. This trimmer has multiple settings and catches much of the hair. Everything I was looking for in a trimmer and it works as advertised.
