Very good movie in 4k one of the best movies and plp will the picture on the movie

I haven't seen this film since it was released on DVD. I really enjoyed watching it again and it looks better than ever.

Video Quality is good and better than blu-ray, and sound quality is even better. Lacking in special features but if you don’t already own, it’s a must buy.

This blu Ray 4K is definitely much better than previous dvd or even standard blu ray.More audio and subtitles option plus some special features included.

As someone who is 40 years old this movie was definitely one of the most important movies of my young adulthood. I am comparing the 4K to the DVD I bought many years ago and still own. Graphically it looks much better. I have to say I was a bit afraid that the 4K may lose some of the grit that the DVD displays which is accurate to Detroit 1995 (when the movie takes place although it was made in 2002). My fears were misplaced as in fact the increased resolution, and wider color space actually convey even more grittiness. The DTS:X track also does a lot better in certain scenes like the stamping plant where Jimmy works. You actually get a lot more accurate sound of the vertical stamping machine on the overhead channels vs the 5.1 DTS mix on the Blu Ray and DVD.

Entertaining movie with some fun rap battles. Picture and sound is pretty good, but not reference.

This was the beginning of an era that will not be soon forgotten. The soundtrack is great the performances were amazing and the battle was insane

8 Mile looks very good on 4K. Detail is sharp. Not a colorful picture but HDR punches up thr picture, especially close-ups.

Great movie, great scan, great job coming with a slipcover on intial release. Emenim should do a sequel! Im ready for it!

Special features are worth watching. He does a couple rap battles vs random people
