Waaayyyy better than my old NetGear router and works AWESOME for online gaming.

This is the best router I have owned. The coverage is fantastic!

I had linksys before, up graded to the Asus. Glad I did love all the features.

I bought this because of all the connected devices in my house. It can support someone watching HD video on the wireless while I am playing Call of Duty on a wired connection--plus all the iPads and smartphones in the house. . It's worth every dime.

Overall this is an excellent wireless router. I love the firewalls which we all need. I do not like having to go to the makers website and set up an admin sign in and password.....The designers forget.........people want control locally and simplicity. Simple is not a word to use with this router unless you are truly up to the challenge.

I needed to increase the coverage area in my 3300 square foot house to facilitate DirecTV Genie with two clients installed and this did the trick. The router is upstairs and the Genie box is downstairs in the basement with the two clients in other bedrooms upstairs. It has extended my coverage area to even allow for my phone to use the wireless anywhere on my 1 acre lot.

This router has been a breeze to use from unboxing to running day to day.

I purchased the ASUS to replace a 12 month old Netgear unit. The installation was simple and i was up and running in a couple of minutes. With my old Netgear router I needed an extender to get coverage around the house but the ASUS covers it without any issues. It's not cheap but the stronger wireless coverage and flexible configuration make it worth every penny IMO.

Love the easy use. I have had no issues at all one of the best out now.

This was a really big upgrade in my apartment. I don't have cable, just Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV. I used to have buffering issues all the time, especially when stream 1080p from my home server to my TV. I haven't seen the buffering symbol since upgrading to this router.

This is definitely the router you want to purchase if you are seeking a customizable router with the option to set up an iTunes server, or to incorporate a USB mass storage device into a network, unfortunately the interface for setting up these customizations is not intuitive and requires a technical knowledge of networking to set it up and maintain it.

Install was fairly straight forward and is working great so far.

I am well pleased with the overall performance of the router :)

Router picks up whole house. Don't need booster units anymore

we are able to get wifi in areas we could not receive before.

easy to set up and get it running. but set up streaming needs a little learning.
