The film itself is worth it. Transfer does enough.

A happy addition to me 4K collection. This title did not exist on bluray at any time in our domestic region. This edition is easily the best it has looked for domestic and likely worldwide home release. It isn't a towering achievement in 4K transfers though. It is a bit soft to my eyes and I understand from quality reviewers there are a few issues I haven't noticed. But given the quality of the release and the totality of circumstances and options this is an easy pickup. Just don't expect to be as impressed as was the case with The Godfather 4K. This film will appeal to fans of that genre but isn't as tenderly transferred. Yet still worthwhile imo.
