The reason for the 2 star review is that when I purchased the item I was told I would receive a 4k disc, a Blu-ray disc and a digital copy. I never got a digital copy. When I asked the seller why, I was told that the digital copy expired and that the listing was incorrect. So 5 stars for the 4k and 0 stars for the seller. I believe the seller updated the item and a digital copy was taken off.

I had never seen this movie, in fact I was not really aware of this movie until maybe 10 years ago. It was a popular movie I never really expected would be good, but I did enjoy it, albeit the later half of the movie more than the first half (for some reason). The video is excellent, they probably did some amount of restoration, and the scan is excellent, VERY filmic, not a DolbyVision scan but the HDR is excellent, there are no wild fluctuations in the scenes that DV would really benefit, the regular HDR covers the film well. Audio is very good, clear and clean.

Watched the first half of movie with 4K disc/player - then watched second half from 4K streaming. I could see the difference - especially overall clarity/color detail.

This classic family Christmas story is a great look back into a nostalgic time when the Christmas holidays were more simple and more enjoyable. Embrace this holiday movie!

Fantastic scan. I love the film grain and sharper image on the exterior shots. The texture and hair strands are noticeably improved. The image quality and audio are better than what was offered before but this isn’t a disc worthy of showing off your 4K display. Still a great buy if you love the film and want the best this movie has looked ever.

Great 4K transfer! If you’re a fan of this classic, easiest $10 to spend.
