The cast does a great job bringing these characters to life. Mathew Goode plays Mathew DeClairmont from page to screen just as I imagined the character to be. Theresa Palmer's take on Diana Bishop is just as entertaining. This is a story filled with romance, mystery and suspense. Diana has spent most of her life denying her witch heritage while Mathew searches for clues from the past to secure the future for all. Demons, Witches and Vampires are all wanting answers to the mysterious manuscript "Ashmole 782"....and Diana may be the link to it's secrets. This is a good rendition of the first book of the trilogy. The second season is currently being filmed. Check out the book series by Deborah Harkness. You will be hooked.

Great show, it's different, and worth the watch. Starts off slow but it picks ups. Don't miss this show before it's over and you're the last one to watch it. Physical media collectors pick this one up.

I really like this type of story. I like the way the characters work together and bring you into the world that they encompass. I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series.

Reminds me of the Twight series...some similarities and some points a little overly dramatic. But good...I bought the trilogy in book form.

So excited to finally own this series to my favorite book trilogy. Can't wait for series 2 (in the making)! The Featurettes was a fun bonus!

For those of you who have read the book, the First Season stays very close to the story line. I can't wait to buy the second season!

One of the best shows. Of course the books are better but they did a great job at casting and trying to make the book come to life.

I was looking forward to seeing this since I heard it came out after reading the book. The show is a little twisted from the book version but appears to be a good story so far. Haven't gotten through the entire thing but if it goes on as it is then the rest should be good.

You can't fit everything into a show from a book but it's pretty darn close with this one.

I read the books a couple years ago and was thrilled when I heard the were making a series. It stayed very true to the book. Can't wait for season two.

Based on All Souls Trilogy books from Deborah Harkness, this is a very well-made adaptation. Beautifully crafted and translated visually from the books. The series was shot at magnificent places, landscapes in multiple countries (UK, Italy France) Both cinematographically and very well scripted for TV series. You may want to still read the book to capture some minor plots not shown in this series, but still, this adaptation will glue your eyes from start to beginning! Overall, it's a worthy piece to collect to be binged someday in the future. Looking forward to collecting the next following 2 seasons

This set is based on the first book of a series by Deborah Harkness - the All Soul's Trilogy. I've heard it called an adult version of the Twilight Series (which I've only seen bits and pieces of) but I think it's a pretty good storyline with interesting characters. The last disc is a little bit of a cliff-hanger, so be prepared for that. The author is actually a historian and the second novel (which I believe was filming before Covid) really plays to that and I'm looking forward to its release. Of course, books are always better, but this was a pretty good adaptation.

I really like this series. I hate that there is no digital copy option. I’m assuming it’s because it is a European company.

I loved the books and was looking forward to this adaption. didn't want to pay for a streaming service and the price for season 1 was lower than most series (ironically AMC had a one day marathon of the season after I purchased the bluray). Actors really capture their characters, the chemistry is palpable and the cinematography is gorgeous! Broke down and got Shudder for season 2 (which is a bit slower than the first, but stays true to the trilogy - just in different order). Great addition to my witch/vampire/superhero bluray collection!
