Cute story, worth a watch. Maybe once a year or so.

a very entertaining comedy romance.Not what you would usually expect from russell crowe or director ridley scott. the charectors were fun ,the humor was great fun and the story and music were differant from anything I've seen .The wife and i have enjoyed watching it several times.Highjly recommend

It was a good movie has funny parts but bring great romance as well.

This movie is so good for a few reasons. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The characters are wonderful, including the actors I had never heard of, that were playing the local people. It was also very funny, and of course touchingly romantic! I also bought this movie for my brother and my best friend.

I love this movie! watch it 20 times! every one in the picture is excellent! love the how the uncle acts with is nephew. we his daughter claims being his daughter! love evrything about the movie!

This is truely a great story. Would have preferred it in BluRay. Still a wonderful movie.

Good movie nice to watch and relaxing with a hot beverage

Returned this DVD and have not rec'd the replacement. This DVD had inserts constantly of the background in the production of the movie. Very frustrating. Not enjoyable to watch. Ask that BB send a unaltered copy of this movie. Not rec'd so far.

Being a fan of Russell’s for 10 years this year I was looking forward to this film when it was release November 2006. Previews looked good to me for A Good Year. Russell did his usual great job. But, the film was lacking. 1 minute Ridley wanted it to be a 1980’s cheap comedy ( the car going in circles fast). Music was not good, I only like 1 song used in the soundtrack. Unnecessary partial nude scene. Now, the DVD. Glad there were a few extras. Like the bit with Russell 6 Ridley. WOULD have nice to have been longer. NO chapter search list inside. Other wise called CHEAP. I so wanted to love this film but was just very disappointed in it.

An excellent story that I have enjoyed a number of times and will continue to enjoy. If I were to buy movies based on critic reviews, I would have passed this one over and missed this down to earth story. Unfortunately, many moviegoers will pass this movie over. Critics have no idea what the general public likes to see at the theater or at home.

A nice clean story with interesting scenery. A good feeling movie with a good cast, well done.

A light romantic movie with attractive characters. No great drama or insights here but still enjoyable if you don't expect too much of it. The setting is beautiful.

A feel good movie and that is nice sometimes. Have dinner with a date and relax.
