I been sleeping on this collection for years. Bestbuy gave me rewards points to cover 80% of the cost it was a no brainer. Now I'll NEVER sleep again.

I'd have to say this is a great price for 7 Blu-ray Discs!

As a huge fan of ‘80s horror movies, the Nightmare on Elm Street films hold a special place that other franchises like Friday the 13th and Halloween don’t. NOE contains a perfect blend of over the top, gory kills with insane humor that will be more likely to leave you laughing than shrieking. But that’s what makes these films so great! Best about this set is not only do you get every film in the franchise, but the huge amount of special features including an exclusive bonus disc for exclusive bonus content makes this set well worth the price for all Freddy fans. Even if you haven’t seen these films, this is a great, affordable set to buy to fully experience the entire series in crystal clear Blu Ray.

If you like horror movies, you’ve probably already heard of this classic franchise! (It makes me feel old to realize that the 80s are old enough to be classic) I love Freddy and this collection has plenty of him and great extras!

Great collection!! I wish it had the remake included, but it does have all of the originals. Picture quality and sound is amazing! Great pick up for any fan.

These movies scared me as a kid. However, they are also very funny, and I like how it deals with the supernatural and questions of mortality.

So I originally owned the DVD Nightmare on Elm Street box set, which was a good set, BUT the extra features were all on this interactive game on the last disk which complicated accessing them. The blu ray set adds in all the additional special features and retrospectives made over the decade, including a good portion of "Never Sleep Again", the official documentary retrospective that was produced a few years back. The big gem is they threw in 2 random episodes of the Tales From the Crypt esque Freddy's Nightmares tv series, which is probably the closest we'll ever get to a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Hopefully this will sell well and lead to a similar Friday the 13th blu ray set

Great complete series of a iconic horror movie character. Elm St. 1-4 are great; 5-7 meh.

Great amazing fun exciting adventurous for hours of fun

Some movies leave a long lasting impression on you. Movie classics like "Silence of the Lambs", "The Exorsists", and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" scare you to not want to fall asleep at night. Then there's "Nightmare on Elm Street" that not only made you not want to sleep it made you afraid to dream. The fear was that your dreams would be a "Nightmare on..." Whatever street you live on or near. Is Freddie a dream or is he real? The first movie in a franchise is often the best. This collection holds true to this. That being said, this "Nightmare on Elm Street" box set is a welcome addition to add to your movie collection. I do recommend it. Be careful what you dream tonight!

As a diehard Freddy fan, this is a must-have. I actually sold off my blu-ray of the original 1984 film to get this collection. I am not a complete-ist and now that I think about I do not like any of the even numbered ones. But what I will say is that there are things to like about part 5 and New Nightmare had a good premise. It was always great to see Heather Lagenkamp back as Nancy. In addition to the superb HD look of the films, what puts this over-the-top for me is the documentaries in the Special Features including "The Male Witch" and, of course, analyses of why we dream. Highly recommended for a price you can't beat.

Fantastic little set. All of the original "Nightmare on Elm Street" films in one box... with comprehensive bonus materials. Each disc is simply a re-pressing of the bluray 2-for-1 discs with all the original special features intact. Plus, there's a new DVD disc with all of the material from the old DVD Box set "Nightmare.... Encyclopedia" bonus disc with some new stuff added. The only things missing are the excellent documentary "Never Sleep Again" and it's sequel, Heather Langenkamp's "I Am Nancy". But at a price of under $25, this set is a can't miss purchase!

I grew up on Freddy movies. I used to watch the 4th film (Dream Master) on BETA MAX over and over and over. Been waiting for the full set to be released on BluRay for a long time. Then I was just waiting for it to drop to the right price, which I found at Best Buy near Halloween 2016. It was $40-50 for a long time, but I was able to get it for $30. Already watched them all. Satisfied with the audio/visual, but this isn't exactly a Criterion release or anything. I'm satisfied, both in nostalgia and price. Don't pay more than $35 for it—there are deals around.

This set is awesome! You get all 7 movies in this set. With this set you can have all your nightmares over and over again. This is the real Freddy Krueger. Robert Englund and Heather Langenkamp are the only true Freddy and Nancy. Also A Nightmare on Elm Street was Johnny Depp's First Movie. I suggest anyone who loves The Elm Street Movies or Johnny Depp get this set.

i bought this the other day just hours before this great mind passed. It was just a shock that the same day that I bought some of the movies that shocked and scared me from my childhood the great mind behind them died. These films will scare a new generation and keep giving us fond memories. I recommend buying this to any true fan of the film and the wider genre. You would have to spend at lest 75-100 if you wanted to buy the films individually. Save yourself some green and buy this set.
