The gimmick of this movie is that it's silent, and the movie executes it flawlessly. The quiet changes your viewing experience and keeps the audience hushed on the edge of their seats. Also, I find the family in A Quiet Place to be a breath of fresh air when compared with how Hollywood portrays most families. This family is realistic. You can tell the parents are fighting to protect their kids and provide for them and raise them in this apocalyptic world. Meanwhile, the kids aren't bratty. They generally obey and trust their parents, though they wrestle with doubts sometimes any kid would have. I simply love how this movie portrays the family! Overall, this movie is very well done. I find the ending to be a little anticlimactic, but that's the only problem I have with it.

Sounded Great in 7.1.4! I didn't know what to expect with the Blu-Ray but I'm glad I purchased
