I'm buying this docking station so that I can connect all my USB devices and HDMI display with single cable to my Windows laptop as well as my Macbook. It easy to use. I can just plug-in to either one of my laptops and got connected right away. The display is limited to mirrored mode only when you connect without driver, but extending your desktop is just a click away on the instantView app to seamlessly install the driver. The app is very simple (which I like) and seems to be located inside the protected internal USB Flash that cannot be erased, so you don't need to worry about deleting it accidently. I also like the design where I can put my laptop on top of the dock with slight angle instead of laying it somewhere on your table (space saver). All the ports also facing backward to make it easier to organize the cables.

Ethernet port had issues right away and didn't work, and their tech support was pretty miserable. Made me go through a bunch of troubleshooting to eventually tell me that they are having a known problem with a recent Windows update and are working to fix it. There is a lag with anything in the USB ports, can't use a Bluetooth dongle for a headset (lag), and my wireless mouse and keyboard will freeze up occasionally. Basically, I now have only my monitors plugged into it, and everything else is running off a separate USB 3.0 hub (and working fine). This is a brand new laptop with Thunderbolt 3 connected to the docking station. The "driver-less" thing is a bogus, there is just a little storage drive built into the docking station that has an install for the drivers. Don't let that persuade you from choosing this over something else (like it did me).

Ethernet does not work, hdmi extended display is very laggy. The audio quality is awful.

Still needs to run progam, runs off downloaded app. Doesn't configure without IT assistance from work

I purchased this item so that I could use 3 screens for my home office; my laptop plus to larger screens. It was very easy to set up and it's working perfectly - as hoped!

Looks like a quality might even be but product but did not work for what I was trying to accomplish

We have many devices at home, Windows laptop, MacBook Pro & Air, and android smartphones. This dock can work with all of them, and doesn't need to download driver. The dock comes with a InstantView application. that enables all displays immediately. very easy to use. I and my wife all love this product.
