If you’ve ever dreamed of being a fighter pilot but didn’t want to put in the work and sacrifice the. This is the game for you. Easy to pick up and play yet deep enough to still learn new maneuvers hours into playing.

A great game in the series and serves as a good introduction to newcomers. Good story, graphics, and voice acting. The game is a little "arcade-ish" but still good fun with lots of stuff to unlock.

I haven't played an Ace Combat game since PS2. Coming back to Ace Combat 7 feels like replaying my childhood, but with better graphics. The game is extremely fun and has lots of variety to it. Storys interesting, but the main focus is really flying jets and blowing stuff up. VR also adds greatly to the experience. Definitely, recommend.

I grew up playing a few flying games going back to the original Xbox and even After Burner in the arcades or Top Gun on the original NES. This game is pretty fun. I don't care for the story. There are some upgrades you can get for your planes (and planes to unlock as well). You have to replay levels a bunch of times to get enough money to buy certain things within the game. Graphics are great. I couldn't handle the VR mode. Made me sick, but I still played and enjoyed the 2D mode. I got the HOTAS flight stick for this game which also works with Eve Valkyrie. There's something satisfying about tailing a plane and taking them down. A solid 8 out of 10.

So far have only played the campaign, but was very pleased with it. Campaign length is decent but has plenty of replayable content. Aircraft and upgrades unlock in a tree style and build on one another so you have to replay to get it all. Looking forward to trying out multiplayer this week.
Side note: purchased the T Flight Hotas 4 Stick with this game and it adds another level of challenge. Little $$$ but worth it in my opinion if you plan to play this more than once through.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a great-looking arcade flight combat game, and zipping over high-quality terrain trying to establish missile locks and evade pursuers can be a lot of fun. The VR missions are a great example of the possibilities for the future of the franchise. It was a bummer that only 3 missions are available for that. Highly recommended and MUST be played with the AC7 HOTAS Flight Stick.

This game is great and was well worth the wait. I've only played the VR portion and was extremely pleased with the experience. I usually get motion sickness pretty quickly on VR, and I thought this would bring me there quicker than normal considering it's a flight simulator, but the smoothness of this game didn't bring it on until way later than I get it from GT Sport or even RE7.

This is a good game, but I do find it somewhat difficult to get through some missions. I repeat many missions, but that just may be me! While not as advanced as some games (Call of Duty & Ghost of Tsushima), it does provide a diversion from the normal FPS games. I do not have VR, so that could be a game-changer (literally) for someone how does.
