One of my all time favorites games! Been following this exciting and very entertaining game since the beginning of the series and this latest edition hasn't disappointed me at all! Great graphics, sounds and story telling! Has it all!!

Playing this game with the Top Gun music paying playing from the 80's makes me feel light a Top Gun Fighter Jet Pilot...so thrilling & have you use the HOSTA controller then that just adds even more trills & realism to the game & to go even further play some of the fight mission on PS4 VR...now your not just playing but your in it now...wow, if you have that set up congratulations you know how it is, but it you don't then check it out at a friend first or just get the VR set up...just take it easy in the air at first or you might just want to land that jet until your stomach can handle the maneuvers.

I'm a casual gamer and also a fan of military aircraft so this game was a given for me. I am impressed with the graphics and while the gameplay is not a simulator, it is fun and super engaging. This game has been without a doubt the best VR gaming experience on the PS4 for me. From the moment of launching off a aircraft carrier to air combat, the VR experience in this game is amazing. It gives you a very small glimpse of what a actual combat pilot see's and experiences and makes you appreciate the skill these people have to pilot these things in the air. Very impressive game and recommend to anyone.

I played the original Ace Combat back in the ‘90s and this brings back memories. Graphics and Story line are amazing. Plenty of combat missions to keep me from playing this game every weekend. Excellent game if you’re into Jet fighter simulations.

Got the game to check out the VR part of it. I ended up just loving this game great graphics. The storyline was a great surprise.

I purchased the game due to the preorder bonus of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War for the PS4. I remember playing the Ace Combat series on my PS2 back in the day and finally going to get to play it on the PS4. It's partly simulation and arcade like gameplay. It's not complicated in the controls and gameplay. If you've played any of the Ace Combat games in the series and enjoyed it, then you will probably enjoy this as well. The game looks great on the PS4, but there have been issues with certain parts with fps. For the most part, the game feels and runs smoothly. I don't really play the game for the story, but mostly for the feel of flying a jet aircraft in combat.

OK, so i'm not a flight guy. I haven't played flight games since college but this game has been getting RAVE reviews across the board and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It is a GREAT GAME, visually stunning, the flying is fun and cool and while I haven't tried the VR function yet, i can only imagine it being even better. I can't recommend this game enough if you are a flyer and if you like pretty games, it is a ton of fun.

Game was great! Ace combat 7 is my first ace combat so I'm a new fan but I just can't wait for the next ones and I'm here to stay as a fan. The story line is very good, missions were fun, and the jets are fantastically amazing. Everything was well done with the design of the jets to the different missions. The VR experience was a great bonus and am sure to be waiting for the AC game.

I love all the Ace Combat games...Love the story lines and gameplay and the 7th installment finally to come to the PS4 is no different...great storyline, great planes, and your able t customize and upgrade your planes as well...the graphics are great and it's just a worthy addition t your library if you love the Ace Combat series...Highly recommended!!

So, in brief, this is Ace Combat...a great casual flying combat simulator. In my case, I got it inexpensively via a gift card and promotional coupon so worth it. The multiplayer was there but a bit barebones in mode selection while the story presentation was good but with not many characters to latch onto in the long-term given the story sends your protagonist all over the place. So if you want a good solo experience, this is for you. Otherwise, think a bit more carefully.

Pretty good VR experience. Was a little miffed the price dropped after I purchased it but eh it happens. Good decent controls not too hard to get the hang of but prepare for motion sickness afterwards. I typically don't get too bothered by motion sickness but this one got me pretty good for some reason.

I love games like this. I'm too old to be at arcades playing them and no company seems to really want to invest in making a good game so when I started to see the previews for this game, I got excited. The graphics are good, I love the planes, and so far it's been a fun game. I may try and find the VR headset for cheap to see how the game is that way.

It's game of the series I've played. Excellent graphics. Just a lot of fun to play. Many modes with differing controls that range from easy to difficult. The more difficult the controls, the more maneuverable the planes are. I like that you can play each mission over and over again to stockpile money to purchase more weapons, planes, etc.

Easy controllers amazing graphics good story pretty to looks at

A fantastic addition to the Ace Combat series, the game play and graphics are fantastic. The story however is confusing and leaves something to be desired compared to past games. However, it is still a fun a enjoyable addition to the AC family. The VR missions are incredible, but there are only 3 of them and you cannot use VR in the regular campaign or in multiplayer. I would have liked to have been able to make more use of the VR set. Overall, 4/5

Amazing graphics and fun missions (plenty of variety, not just "shoot these planes down and return to base"). The story is even pretty decent, but it's Ace Combat so... Online play is solid, but prepare to get owned unless you have the absolute best plane with the best upgrades.

I wasn't really the one to use it but my son said he liked it. I took a peak at the game beforehand I would say that the tutorial that are provided are a little advance, not saying that it is really hard but it takes time to learn the controls before you're able to say you full understand it. However, the graphics are amazing, for instance it was raining in the sky, so you're screen has rain drops on it. And for the clouds its not like clear clouds its like very thick clouds so you hav to navigate yourself to find the plane. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it gets confusing on what you're suppose to do after, like my son has been on the same level multiple times even though he took down the plane.

Got ace combat for the VR mode but quickly discovered it wasn’t that great. Was hoping to free fly but that option was greyed out. I guess you have to unlock it first. However the campaign mode is awesome. The story is a little corny but plenty of voice acting and dialogue going on, they really put a lot of work into it. Graphics look great on PS4 pro with 4k OLED TV. Controls and gameplay are tight, and the game is a blast.

If you love Top Gun, fighter jets, or just planes overall, this game is the best. Missions are fun yet challenging. Multiplayer is brutal. But the VR missions are super engaging. Well worth checking it out even without the VR

I always loved the ace combat games and since I have psvr that just made this game amazing. You can fully immerse yourself into the cockpit of the coolest jets and scenery. Sometimes looking around makes you feel like you are really there. Only problem is the VR is only a little piece of the game and not the whole game and thats why its not 5 stars
