Okay, so I spent over a week researching chrome books and after figuring out I wanted one with a larger screen (15.6 inches) I landed on the Acer Celeron chromebook and the fact that it's refurbished makes no difference to a brand new one, it comes with a charger, the only issue/con I would have to list is Acer markets this as a 9 hour battery life. It is not! In reality it's more like 5-6 hours depending on what your using your chromebook for! But for surfing the web, watching Netflix, hbo now, and listening to music with ten tabs open in your browser sounds like what you do then this chromebook is the right one for you! It's absolutely fabulous!

I read the reviews online before I bought this product and couldn't ask for anything more. It's fast, easy to carry, and easy to use. Highly recommend.

If you like Chromebooks and want a big, lovely screen this Acer is a good way to go. It is slated for Android apps, and with 4GB of RAM performs very well as an internet device. The real question is the size: this is a big old rascal. Not terribly heavy or unwieldy, just different from most Chromebooks, which trend to smaller, more portable devices. Build quality is solid plastic, no creaks, nice keyboard, great speakers. If you want a big honking Chromebook, this is your baby.

Really enjoy the full 1080HD screen, and great sound (for a chromebook). The computer is very fast, it really does boot in 7 seconds and it's ready to go! Battery life is also excellent. Has everything I need.

I couldn't be happier with my factory refurbished Acer chromebook. This particular model has a 1080 HD 15.6inch display. It also has 4gb RAM. Makes it super fast. Because it is a chromebook, the operating system is always up to date at no cost. Because it runs on chrome, it really is pretty secure, without a real need for additional anti-virus software/bloatware. I also like the standard HDMI output jack and tried it connected to my 32" 1080p TV. Picture was awesome and would benefit those who are or are becoming visually challenged.

Clean, fast, better than expected for a refurbished product. Trouble connecting a printer however; not able to connect to printer via cord. Online says must be a wireless printer? So will have to buy a compatible printer. Format takes some getting used to (it's a note pad). Was a gift for a friend and so far he loves it and is learning to work the differences. Very fast processor.

Pros: Lightweight , fast boot up, no adware, good screen resolution (watch movies and reading) , good battery life , cheap. Refurbished but as good as new. Neutral: Have to install apps, bought 128GB SD card .

Not sure how it will work out in the long run. I've only had the unit a little over a month. This was a Refurbished unit that appeared to be in like new condition. It remains to be seen if it will last as I use it a lot. I bought this to surf the iner-web, I'm always logging in all the time. If the unit remains trouble free over time it would have been more than worth the price I paid.

Bought this lab top for my daughter. She loves it and I love it. It's sleek, and has a great color screen. Easy to use. Would buy several more.

I bought this as a gift for a senior citizen. He loves it. He uses it to watch movies online and to check emails. It's easy to use, and great graphics for such a good price. If you just want to go online, browse, check emails, then this is a good buy. But if you're a online gamer, then this is not for you.

This is one of the best Chromebooks on the market. The pricing is low, but the use of this device is great. Printing from a Chromebook is the biggest challenge, but with patience, it can be achieved. Netflix looks awesome. The online experience is fabulous. Viruses are eliminated (at least for now)! No more reboots and crashes and updates and........ Great operating system that will only get better.

While it is plasticy, this lasted for over 2 1/2 years and just started giving some problems due to a loose contact between the display hinge. It brings some discoloration and lines on the screen during booting but can be made ok by adjusting the screen over the hinges connecting to the base. I have the 2018 successor to the 2016 chromebook and am still not able to get the brightness of this 3 + year old laptop in the newer better model. Got the refurbished model at a very good price like 190$.

Excellent cromebook. I love it easy to use. The speed is fabulous. I would never go back to a regular lap top.

this is the second one I've owned. It's a solid computer. I've had no problems. The charger cord lasted about 2 yrs.

The 15.6" display is big for a Chromebook, although the price you pay is the weight of this thing.... Rather heavy for students to carry around...

Bought this to replace my parents old laptop. Much easier for them to use. Less phone calls so far about it freezing up and how to close windows. It does exactly what they need..facebook for my mother and old car hunting for my father.

Buy this Chrombook for my son. Very happy about the product so far. Can not tell the difference than a regular new product. Let's see how it goes down the road.

I bought this for my "significant other" and she loves it. Great value for a very good laptop.
