Customers are enthusiastic about the 27" LED HD monitor's large screen size, reasonable price, and ease of use. Many also praise its resolution and clarity, as well as the inclusion of HDMI connectivity. However, some customers note the lack of built-in speakers and express concerns about glare. A few users also mention that the refresh rate may not be suitable for all gaming needs.

I was hired by a local CPA to do a complicated analysis for a new business whose account he has taken on. The startup involved weeding through a huge box of loose receipts and bank/credit card statements, to calculate the business owner's investment of personal funds (including expenses from several bank accounts as well as purchases made on personal credit cards.) We are working towards establishing the dollar amount that becomes the owner's investment in the business. Needless to say, the Excel file I've created has multiple worksheets in the workbook, and each sheet has 20 to 30 columns. The time spent scrolling back and forth on my 19" monitor was ridiculous. The minimal investment in this 27" monitor will be returned to me exponentially just in time saved, as I now have much greater viewing and working capacity. WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT!!!! And I must say, the quality of this monitor is exceptional. Perfect for my home office! Thank you, Best Buy!

I purchased two of these and set them up as dual monitors. We are using DVI and VGA to these monitors. The colors are good and for the price it's hard to go wrong against similar size monitors that cost twice as much.
They also have HDMI which is nice but I am not using it.

There are lots of 27" monitors to chose from, I chose to replace 2 older 28" lcd monitors with 2 of these primarily for price and use. At the time of purchase this was the best deal I could find anywhere on the web for a 27" monitor. Acer is a good name, I've been using their products for decades with no problems. always out last the warranty. so far!. there's nothing special about these other than the 3 most common inputs included. its few that support DVI, VGA & HDMI in one monitor these days. Mac users can use a Mini display Port adapter to connect. I tested all three inputs with the same source and found both the DVI and VGA performed well and identical in appearance. The HDMI input did not, the image was washed out compared to the other DVI and VGA inputs. Even though I could have tried to adjust the hdmi to match it did not make sense to do so since it performed well with no adjustment on the other 2 inputs.Since I'm using this in a 2 monitor W7setting I chose the DVI and VGA inputs since my graphics card supports all three. So far all is nominal, steam games look fine, basic use is fine too. The one disappointment for Me was when I opened the box and found the external power supply. Its a personal choice but I prefer internal power supplies on monitors (No power brick, Direct from the wall AC plug to the monitor).
I almost returned these due to this, but after looking at the market again I found it would have cost $100 more each to get that feature. I decided to install and test them. I wall mounted these on 2 vesa 100x100 arms with ease. They phyically lok great, thin bezel, thin depth, non glare. I'm Happy! My advice is if You are looking for a 27" and need multiple inputs and can find this for $200 or less its a good deal at this time. Things change so fast however, so look around at the entire market before chosing this monitor, there may be a better deal out there. The next monitors I buy will be 4K once the price comes down. For Now, these will do.

I have two of them and find the color and size perfect for home use. I did not see the reviews that said there were no speakers in them. There is a port for a speaker cable and grills for the speakers but nothing in any of the paperwork or specs from Best Buy indicated that there were no speakers mounted inside. These are great monitors but I wouldn't pay more than two hundred for one.

Great monitor for my purpose

This has become my primary monitor, and I fell into it somewhat by accident. I had originally ordered another monitor that was damaged in shipping. They didn't have any of those in stock, so I opted for this (a little more expensive) monitor. Turns out to have been a great choice.
Although I don't do much gaming (World of Tanks and Truck Simulator), when I do play, the monitor is quick, clear, and bright. For most other purposes, it is outstanding. I do web page creation/updates, MicroSoft Office, and general computer use, and find that this is clear and easy on the eyes.
The settings are easy to change, and though the bright blue light on the power button on the bottom right can get a little annoying, that is a minor inconvenience. Overall, well worth the price, but again I am not deep into gaming or graphics, so this may not be the best choice for those activities.

Listen. This monitor is amazing. It took 20 minutes to get my dual monitor set up up and running. That's it, 20 minutes. I've had an ACER 23 inch monitor for about 3 years and decided to get this one to go along with it. But now that this one is on sale and is so amazing, I fully intend on going back to Best Buy tomorrow for a second 27 inch. If you're in the market, I highly recommend it.

I loved the first one I got so much. The colors were vibrant and it was full of life. So I wanted one more to dual screen. My second, the colors were really dull. That's what options are for, right? I found the color menu lacking. I could only do so much to try to get them as close as possible. If you have a video card like nVidia, you have way more tweeking options. So I have them looking good.
But one of the main reasons I got these was also to hook up my gaming systems to them. Computer running through the DVI-D port and systems using the HDMI port. Works perfect. I can switch between them like a breeze. However the audio is a whole other story. Past monitors I could plug in and go. This one sounds distant and very quiet. Volume control? Boy I wish! While a volume icon is there, its unselectable. I've checked the CD included and tried to find any drivers. Nothing. I currently am running the audio to my sound card's AUX port. While better, it's still very quiet. Hopefully I will find a solution. While it's not bad enough to make me take these back, had I known of the audio issue earlier I would have gone with another brand. My past LG and ASUS monitors were excellent in the audio department.

I purchased 2 of these monitors in early May 2014 for $199 each on-sale, for a new 'remote', work-from-home position as an IT Consultant. I used them with an older HP Elite notebook and docking-station that had a DVI and standard display-port outputs. Both monitors ran at max resolution, and matched each other EXACTLY when set at the same TEMPERATURE setting. This is important, since I run my windows desktop with the 'extended' desktop setting, and any variance in color is a no-go when you're in front of them for 8+ hours a day. At my new job, I have 2 Dell monitors, same model and more expensive, that when set to the exact same settings, aren't even close! Get this monitor and you'll be pleased you did!

For the money you CAN'T beat this monitor. Great clarity, ultra light and thin, and even comes with any of the connection cables you could need. Would definitely recommend and will probably buy another in the future. We also have the smaller version of this same monitor and it is so nice we decided to buy the 27". Couldn't be happier.

Really pleased with the size and functionality of this monitor. Comes with VGA, HDMI, and DVI cords. Great size and picture. Has sharp display even with low-end graphics cards. One drawback: no speaker.

Got this on sale and was very impressed with the quality and tuning capabilities this has i am running it in dual monitor mode and its robust no issues at all ..
Menu is easy to navigate and buttons are placed well and the connections in the back are straight out so it makes it much nicer for cable management and easier access unlike other monitors that go down & you have to try and get your fingers in a tight area to plug in cables..
All in all perfect size for dual monitors and the price was rite!!
Recommend this to everyone !!
PS this does come with a HDMI cable and VGA cable ... A++++..

This is the 2nd Acer 27 inch monitor I purchased from Best Buy. I am using it with a Toshiba Chromebook 2. It is an excellent monitor, very bright, great colors and in my opinion the best monitor in the market at that price point. I would recommend it to everyone. Jim

Actually bought two monitors, both Acer, 23" and 27". 27 is the way to go! Don't listen to others that 23"-24" inch monitor is best for viewing distance. Best monitor I ever had.

I bought this because I needed a monitor with a VESA mount. Everything went smoothly. I just screwed in my mounting bracket, plugged in my cables and turned it on. It looks great. I did not attempt to change anything from the default settings. My office is bright, with windows all around me. The screen does not suffer from glare, and the default brightness is good enough to see the screen well in a bright room. I have it mounted on an Ergotron monitor arm, which is rated for 24" or smaller monitors. However, this monitor is very light weight for its size and works great on the monitor arm.

This is the second Acer led monitor I've owned. This one was more challenging to get calibrated correctly. Even now it's not perfect but the best I can do without special software. Overall, the monitor is a good value and based on my experience with my other one it should last a long time.

I bought 2 of these and they work pretty good. I wish they had adjustable stands, but for some reason most monitors dont.
My only critique about these monitors is that for some reason when plugged into HDMI, at least on my video card (TI660), the monitor is dim. Since i bought two, i swapped them and the other one did the same thing. I had a Insignia TV on the HDMI port before these which didnt have the problem and when i moved my other 32 inch TV(my main monitor) to the HDMI port and it didnt exhibit the problem either. They work fine on VGA and DVI though.

I purchase this monitor to play video games on and it works well. I use it for my Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U for the last two months without any issues.
