The monitor is very dull otherwise, but my nvidia geforce gtx 670 can change the contrast, brightness, gamma, and digital vibrance which made this monitor EXCELLENT!

One good, one bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, I would like to state that Best Buy's return policy and customer service is horrible. The problem happened 7 days past the 15 day return/exchange policy and they would not exchange it for the exact same model. I purchased two of these monitors for my home office. One of them flickers. I swapped cables, installed latest drivers and swapped ports. It always flickers. The screen quality and resolution is great for what I use it for (web browsing and MS office). My experience is you get a 50/50 chance on getting a working one. Now I will be forced to call ACER to resolve my issue with the flickering screen on basically a brand new monitor. Thanks for nothing Best Buy.

This is NOT an IPS display

Overall, it's a great monitor with good picture, brightness and clarity. The viewing angle is actually still ok, but it's not an IPS display, verified with the OEM. I bought this based on that spec (for $250) but ended up returning for a different brand that had a true IPS for $100 less. I bought for us in a home arcade cabinet and really wanted the extra viewing angle. For this price, it should be a better quality monitor or have a better value. Connectivity though is a plus and it's VESA ready.

This link does state the display type is LED. It could have been a typo on the page and since has been corrected by Best Buy. We are happy you ended up getting the monitor you want and we certainly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
