Cannot reduce the brightness, painful to my eyes

I have searched for help online, and I understand the controls. Anybody know where to look for an owners manual or help on adjusting this monitor? I tried downloading the Windows Store APP to adjust the brightness in Windows 10, but got the message. DDC/CI is not supported. I think this would be a good monitor if it was not so bright with white light. Thanks

Very disappointing

Total waste of money. Your experience may be completely different, as before I purchased it I looked at the reviews and saw many positive ratings, so perhaps I received a dud. Was easy to hook up though!
