Spent three days trying to get McAfee uninstalled. The computer was barely running and we couldnt get to the hard drive to recover importsnt daya becauee of mcafee. Best buy wouldn't help. Acer wanted to charge us too. Lost three days of productivity because of a program that I didn't want was pre installed.

Needed a Windows 7 computer for a job I work from home. They are nor easy to come by these days. Originally got the refurbished version of this computer but had a charging issue the first day. Returned it and ordered this computer. I have an HP with the same specs that has just started to run slow after 4 years but it's still faster than this computer. Takes forever to open just a browser windows and load a page.

This laptop is great. My only issue is the mouse pad. It works only if your fingers are not oily I guess. I could be sitting there using it just fine and then it will just stop working. No matter how much I swipe my finger across the mouse pad the cursor will not budge! I figured out a little trick. When I wipe my finger on the carpet a little then try to use the mouse pad again, it works! Unfortunately it's EXTREMELY inconvenient! I have to do this constantly when using the laptop for a long peroid of time. This one issue would cause me not to recommend this item to a friend.

after 10 days charging battery over heated. Slow loaded pages. Not happy with it. Got a Dell instead much happier

I was looking for Win 7, along with a 10 key. I didn't expect to find what I was looking for, but it was in a box on the shelf, a return never used! Yeah!

Slow and sometimes does not work correctly, just sits there and the cursor just spins around and around, games sometimes will not play, you must log off and restart pc.

I haven't found any problems with the Acer Brand. This is the 4th one I have purchased

Great computer with OS that works with school software that is not always up to date with home and business software versions. Lightweight with plenty of processing speed and hard drive space.

Just what I needed for a beginner for paying bills being away from home Easy to use at a great price

Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the battery drains pretty fast, but it also charges pretty fast.

One of the last windows 7 programmed laptops left to buy. Great laptop

The Acer computer is a wonderful product glad I purchase this laptop if I chose I can change it to Windows 10. In addition, this laptop price were better than the others.

Just set it up a couple hours ago, so far it's perfect for me. I wanted to replace my Toshiba with Windows Vista that died.I hated Windows 10 so when I found out Windows 7 was still available I rushed out to get it.This laptop is almost just like my old one, setup only took a few minutes and there is no learning curve, I had a bad moment when the touch pad stopped working but I restarted it and all seems fine now The only thing it doesn't have is picture editing, I guess I will have to download something.for that. If you are old school like me and don't want to learn alot of new stuff and mess around with apps, this is for you. Nice big screen,sturdy design, great keyboard. Best Buy was very good about my exchange (I had bought a HP with Win 10 ...hated it) They didn't have this one in the store but they ordered it for me.I'm only rating it a 4 because of the lack of picture editing but so far it's exactly what I wanted.

Bought this laptop to replace an older ACER that had died. This one is working great.

I have had this computer for a few days and I must say I am impressed so far. The computer setup was simple and easy my 6 year old could have done it. The mouse is sensitive and I don't like where the power cable plugs in, the plug is located on the right side of the laptop I would rather have it plug in from the left. I have not tried out the bluetooth capability yet, once I try it out I will post again. Overall I am pleased with the laptop, for the price and the features I think it is a good laptop and great deal.

Didnt have it but 6 days and it crashed on me.....lost everything! Returned and upgraded.

Worked great until the screen went bad. Won't buy another
