I was surprised that there was no bloatware on it except for a trial of Norton. Gone are the days when you had to let the Geek Squad set up your computer. Now you can do it yourself. This starts up quickly and I was able to add my desired software programs easily and sync it with my other computer and phone easily. However, the battery life is not as long as stated.

I do not like that you can not tell if caps are on. It initially did but not longer. For a entry level pc it is good as long as you get it on sale. We got it for a back up pc. I would say try to save up and get a higher end one if you can afford it. If you can't, this should be a good choice.
